Pamfilova spoke about the launch of pilot projects during the presidential elections
Chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission Ella Pamfilova did not allow the launch of pilot projects during the presidential elections.
She made this statement in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Pamfilova was asked whether the Central Election Commission plans innovations for voters during the presidential campaign. “Pilot projects and everything else may be at other stages,” she clarified in response to a question.
In the presidential elections, the Central Election Commission should not propose impromptu proposals, but only what has been well tested by experience, Pamfilova emphasized.
Presidential elections in Russia will be held in 2024.
On August 18, the head of the Central Election Commission called Western democracy unsuitable for Russia. At the same time, Pamfilova called for the development of elected institutions at all levels to form a high-quality and effective management system. The Central Election Commission is one of the most effective departments, which solves many problems as efficiently as possible with minimal costs, she assured.
