54-year-old Anzhelika Varum has not appeared in public for a long time. On her pages in social networks, the singer spoke out against the SVO in Russian and Ukrainian and disappeared from the radar. Over the past year, Angelica has appeared in front of her fans only a couple of times, and then at the Leonid Agutin Forum (as the mentor of the Voice show called his talent school).
Leonid himself was not so categorical in public space. He did not make political statements, he only mentioned in an interview that he considers himself a patriot of Russia. Agutin recently celebrated his 55th anniversary as a soloist in the capital. The singer’s wife did not appear at the concert; the musician performed all their duet compositions alone.
“Angelica got sick, and incompatible with the concert, but she will recover, and of course we will sing,” the musician explained to the audience the absence of his wife on stage.
Previously, the singer has repeatedly denied rumors that his wife left for permanent residence in the States, where they have real estate. Like, we don’t plan to leave Russia, we have a winter dacha in Miami: we bought an apartment there at the beginning of the 2000s, fell in love with the ocean. Yes, and 24-year-old daughter Elizabeth from childhood lived in the United States with Angelica’s parents.
Elizaveta Maria Varum-Agutina (full name of the artists’ daughter) moved from Miami to Los Angeles a year ago. There, the girl builds a musical career – she sings in the rock band Without Gravity (“Without attraction”) under the pseudonym Liz Holloway. Recently, the musician’s father, Nikolai Agutin, told reporters that his granddaughter had bought an apartment in Los Angeles. Moreover, in his words, Liza saved up most of the money for living space herself.
She has already earned her own apartment. I bought it myself! Imagine! She worked as a dishwasher. And what to do … Dad helped a little, you know, not without it. She is still that girl – if she has a goal, then that’s it! Lisa saved money. But she even has paid concerts, – Nikolai Agutin boasted to reporters.
And what happened to the empty Miami apartment, since the couple live in Moscow, and their daughter moved to Los Angeles? In Miami, Angelica Varum and Leonid Agutin settled in a luxury residential complex Donald Trump Tramp Towers on the so-called Sunny Island. At one time they bought this 170-meter apartment for 700 thousand dollars. Now the price of apartments in a 45-meter high-rise building has risen to $1.5 million (146 million rubles). It has everything for a comfortable stay: private access to the beach, security service, swimming pool, spa and fitness centers. True, real estate taxes in the United States bite: spouses annually pay 20 thousand dollars (almost 2 million rubles) to the state for it.
With the investment of funds, the singer did not lose. Over the year, the cost of its new meters has grown to 479 thousand dollars (almost 47 million rubles). The apartment is not yet furnished, but it can already be rented. The rental offer is published on one of the American real estate websites.
As Komsomolskaya Pravda found out, the spouses earn money in the same way on their other Miami apartment, located in Tramp Towers. A chic home with a stellar setting is also listed on real estate sites. Elephant figurines, Agutin’s favorite animals, are used in many decorative elements. A few years ago, the musician even released a children’s book, I Am an Elephant. It tells young readers how these animals are treated in different cultures and countries. For his Miami apartment, Agutin bought tables and a TV stand in the form of elephants. The owners of the dwelling (and now this apartment, in addition to Leonid Agutin, is owned by his friend, American producer Alex Sino) rent out apartments to guests for 8 thousand dollars a month (778 thousand rubles).
By the way
Who lives next door
Not far from the Trump skyscrapers, where Agutin’s Miami apartment is located, there are three-room apartments and Kristina Orbakaite. Their cost is now estimated at 2 million 538 thousand dollars (247 million rubles). The singer’s apartment is located opposite the Bal Harbor shopping center. Only for taxes for her, the singer gives 50 thousand dollars a year (almost 5 million rubles).
In the 90s, there was an apartment in the same house and Alla Pugacheva. But then the artist sold it, because she became afraid of long flights. Until recently, Pugacheva was listed under the documents and the co-owner of the Orbakaite apartment. But, as KP found out with the help of the Miami real estate website, shortly before the pandemic, Alla rewrote her share to her son-in-law Mikhail Zemtsov. Now Kristina and her husband Mikhail own this property together.
There was an apartment in the same house and Philip Kirkorov. But after the birth of his daughter Alla Victoria, the singer sold her and bought a luxurious 7-bedroom mansion in Miami, located near the La Gorce country golf club. Now the cost of the artist’s villa is about $ 5 million (487 million rubles). For the year, the singer spends about 100 thousand dollars in taxes (9.7 million rubles). And that’s not counting the upkeep of the mansion and the salary of the Brazilian couple who take care of the house.
As Komsomolskaya Pravda found out, Philip previously owned the villa half with his aunt, opera singer Marie Kirkorova. And in February of this year, the children of Kirkorov, Alla-Victoria and Martin, officially became co-owners of the mansion.
And at this time
Sang a fortune
In Moscow, Agutin and Varum live in Khamovniki. There, the artists own three apartments at once. In addition, Leonid also has an apartment in one of the skyscrapers in Kochnovsky passage with an area of 163 square meters.
– Leonid Agutin sang a fortune over the years of his career. He is still one of the most sought-after musicians at corporate parties, ”Evgeny Morozov, head of the Ru-Concert company, told KP. – For an hour of performance, Agutin asks for 2 million rubles. The concert of Angelica Varum costs the same, which, although she has not appeared in public lately, does not refuse corporate parties.
– I am honest in my work, a musical, conscientious person. But greedy! – Agutin admitted in one of his interviews. “I came into show business because of the money, and until they give it back to me, I won’t leave show business,” Sergey Mazaev once said. I really like this phrase.
In the capital, the spouses are registered in one of the stalinoks on Savvinskaya embankment – in the prestigious Khamovniki district. Here they have three apartments at once with an area of 55, 73 and 115 “squares”, probably combined into one two-level living space.
Agutin could also be found in one of the skyscrapers in Kochnovsky passage – this is in the Moscow Airport district. Here, on the 24th floor, the musician had an apartment of 163 sq. m and a market value of 47 million rubles. This property may be for rent. — Inset K.ru
