In Krasnodar, an investigation into a criminal case of fraud has been completed, in which a group of four people who presented themselves as FSB officers for the sake of a scam for eight million rubles are accused. About it reported in the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
Three men aged 21 to 28 and a 19-year-old girl will appear before the court.
According to the investigation, in November 2022, a 27-year-old Kuban resident found out that the police were investigating a criminal case against his friend. He persuaded a relative and friends to scam. Under the guise of FSB officers, they offered the man help in closing the case for eight million rubles. He agreed, but turned to law enforcement.
On the afternoon of December 8, 2022, on Kubanskaya Naberezhnaya Street in Krasnodar, one of the defendants received 500,000 rubles from the applicant as the first tranche; upon receiving the money, the man was detained, and then his accomplices.
