Member of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov in his The Telegram channel said that Western attempts to force the world into sanctions against Russia have failed.
According to him, Washington continues its efforts, but not very successfully. The senator noted that the threats managed to force the introduction of anti-Russian restrictions on the only country in Latin America – Costa Rica, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Pushkov noted that besides her, only two Muslim countries joined the sanctions, both as a result of coercion, these are Albania and Bangladesh.
“But in general, outside the Western world, the creation of an anti-Russian sanctions coalition has failed,” the senator concluded.
Earlier it became known that the US Department of Justice is looking for new ways to block the way to evade anti-Russian sanctions and will focus on intermediaries in this case – foreign investment advisers, hedge funds and law firms.
