A fire broke out in the Spassky District Court of the Primorsky Territory, it was quickly extinguished, no one was injured.

The fire was set up by 28-year-old local resident Pyotr Timofeev, convicted of murder. He was taken to court to hear an appeal against the verdict. However, at the hearing, the man took off his T-shirt and set it on fire with a match. A fire broke out, those present in the courtroom rushed to put it out. The fire alarm also went off.
After the incident, the Russian refused to explain the reason for his action.
He was sentenced to nine years in prison for murder. In 2021, he was given drugs to the colony, but they were found by employees. For this Timofeev added four years. In 2022, he attacked an escort, allegedly for insulting him. As a result, his term was extended by another two years.
