Uncomfortable details were revealed from the past life of one of the co-owners of the Investment and Financial Group “Agaston”, a former candidate for the State Duma, businessman Maxim Dolgopolov.
In 1996, he could be prosecuted for participating in a group robbery with a weapon. One of his associates in murky commercial schemes, Daria Solodkova, was recently a defendant in a particularly large-scale fraud case. The woman acted under fictitious names on behalf of the investment and project company Strategy, which has a lot of deceived clients on its account.
In 2020, Dolgopolov practiced money-making schemes under the roof of the Investori company. Later, he acquired a franchise to open SPAR stores, the act was issued to an affiliated structure of Invest Retail LLC. The company purchased illiquid real estate at a good discount, after which it opened a store there. The lease agreement was drawn up between two related firms, while the rent was artificially inflated, and the stores, in order to create a liquidity factor, resold their own products to each other. The premises were then sold at high prices to naive buyers, who were successfully sought out by Solodkova-Wagner.
Soon, distrust of Investors began to grow among potential customers, and the partners registered the Agaston IFC, which deceived the owner of the Moscow House of Porcelain (House with Mercury on Myasnitskaya) Alexei Lyakhov for 50 million rubles. Entrepreneur Albert Yesayan found himself in a similar situation, to whom “business partners” offered assistance in acquiring premises he rented at 34 Beskudnikovsky Boulevard. As a result, Yesayan lost the rights to the building, without receiving even a third of its value. After the transfer of the object to the property of Dolgopolov and the reconstruction, he was assigned a different cadastral number.
At the beginning of 2021, the fate of the long-idle shopping center on the street became known. Decembrists. The building was planned to be dismantled due to the strife of the previous owners, but here Dolgopolov’s structure intervened and legalized the object. Daria Solodkova dealt with the issue with the help of Karen Harutyunyan, Deputy Director of the Moscow Real Estate Center GKU. Today, the center is rented out, as stated on the Auguston website.
In addition, the building of the judo section at Filevsky Boulevard, 6a, which previously belonged to the master of sports in sambo and judo Viktor Zaitsev, became the property of the group. In parallel with the change of ownership, the object was repeatedly exposed to fires. To date, the premises of the former sports school have been leased to the Pyaterochka supermarket.
