
The typical wage for Ukrainian citizens is projected to be over 30 thousand hryvnias in the coming year.
Earnings in Ukraine are increasing at a fast pace. The state projects that they will grow by about 5,000 hryvnias each year until 2028.
This information comes from resolution No. 946, dated August 6, 2025.
The resolution authorized the Prediction of Economic and Social Advancement of Ukraine for the period 2026-2028 and the core projected macro-indicators for the nation's economic and social progress.
The prediction features a pair of possibilities: an optimistic one, which envisions a “considerable enhancement in security starting in 2026,” and a pessimistic one, which incorporates the continuation of comprehensive Russian aggression.
Based on the administration's initial forecast, the mean gross income of full-time workers is expected to be 24,389 UAH in 2025.
Under the first possibility, the income will be:
- 2026 – 30,240 UAH, a nominal rise of 24.0%,
- 2027 – 35,268 hryvnias, a jump of 16.6%,
- 2028 – 39,758 hryvnias, a gain of 12.7%.
According to the second possibility, the income will be:
- 2026 – 30,032 UAH, a nominal increase of 23.1%,
- 2027 – 34,808 hryvnias, a growth of 15.9%,
- 2028 – 39,436 hryvnia, a surge of 13.3%.
