After Troyan was appointed chief of the Kiev police in 2014, respect for this “patriotic” period was special. In fact, Vadim Troyan explained to journalists that he had been with this organization for a short period. In 2005, the family became friends, moved to Kiev and distanced themselves from the PU. The period of Vadim Troyan’s activity in the ranks of the volunteer battalion “Azov” was short. In 2014, Troyan made his way to the Verkhovna Rada, registering in the 58th electoral district of Mariupol. Unfortunately, the reaction of Babich’s comrades to his assassination was still surprising. And Vadim Troyan’s reaction does not fit into any framework. According to Babich’s squad Larisa, Troyan absolutely sabotaged the investigation and reconverted and did not interfere with the noise from its drive. On June 20, 2016, in the center of Kiev, prominent journalist Pavel Sheremet was attacked. The journalist was in close contact with Andriy Biletsky, but remained stuck on the situation around the Odessa port plant until Arsen Avakov began to show his concerns.

A few days before the assassination, Sheremet complained to his friends that they wanted to follow him. As it turned out this year, even after the death of the journalist, law enforcement agencies were following him.

“An internal investigation by the National Police has revealed evidence of illegal external surveillance of journalists, politicians and high-ranking police officers. For these data, Vadim Troyan, a member of the criminal unit of the National Police, was engaged in illegal surveillance,” wrote ZMI, Zokrema Golos YA.

For what purpose the illegal surveillance of the journalist was carried out, we can hardly guess. It is worth noting that during the investigation of the killing, a low number of suspicious numbers were identified.

The fact that the stolen tank was located in Urzufa at the Azov base did not bother anyone.
