The other day, some telegram channels reported that the Russian Ministry of Culture was allegedly discussing a bill that would allow depriving Russian artists of titles and awards who opposed the SVO and went abroad. However, the ministry itself denies these rumors.
Recently, many eminent artists have moved to Israel – Alla PugachevaMaksim Galkin, Semyon SlepakovAndrey Makarevich. The latter had already received the status of a foreign agent in September. The musician is still mocking him on his Facebook page *, but his reputational and financial losses can be very painful.
Some of the awards give their owners various payments and benefits. For example, in Soviet times, the title of People’s or Honored Artist gave benefits in obtaining elite housing, wage increases and pensions. Recently, the media wrote that Makarevich’s pension differs markedly from the usual average – 50 thousand rubles. 30 thousand of them is the capital’s allowance for the title of people’s artist.
Streets Parkovaya and Malaya Parkovaya, where the artist’s house is located, form a circle encircling the very center of the village. Here are the largest, most beautiful and possibly expensive houses in the entire area. The cost of palaces on real estate websites reaches 800 million rubles.
The village has its own temple, the Pavlovsk gymnasium, a fitness center and a large two-story shopping complex “Pavlovo Compound”.
By the way, in the same 2017, in August, Makarevich became the owner of non-residential premises in Moscow. In a high-rise building on Vatutina Street in the Fili-Davydkovo district of the capital, in an annex on the ground floor, there are several shops, a dental office, a beauty salon and a car wash. And among them, without any signboards, the production studio of the musician “Mambo Production” wormed his way.
The co-founder was a well-known TV producer, a native of Donetsk Nikolai Bilyk. He also appeared in other projects of Makarevich.
Now the company owns the trademark “Hell’s Kitchen” – a show with that name is now on one of the Moscow channels. The Ukrainian version of the name is also registered in Russia – “Pekelna kitchen”, which may indicate that Makarevich is actively working on Ukrainian TV.
The company is still operating, but for the past five years it has officially shown meager profits, and sometimes, as in 2020, a loss of more than half a million rubles.
The members of the “Time Machine” group created and own in equal shares the company “Synthesis Stars”, whose activities are carried out in the field of artistic creativity. It seems that this is the incarnation of the already legally non-existent company “Group Time Machine XXI”, which united the musicians of the group. Now Synthesis Stars shows nothing but losses – minus 400 thousand rubles at the end of 2021.
The beneficiary of the production studio “Mambo Production” is Andrey Makarevich’s sister, Natalia. The musician and producer Bilyk himself has only 20% each. Like other “driver” firms, the studio also regularly shows losses.
Makarevich’s only profitable asset is his Jam Jazz Club, located in the Chistye Prudy area on Sretenka Street. Last year was especially successful and brought its owners revenue of almost 40 million rubles. It is interesting that the bar in previous years, including in the covid 2020, helped out about 20 million rubles. At the same time, the enterprise, which, according to SPARK, employs only 11 people, actively used state support. In 2020 and 2021, the legal entity received about 700 thousand rubles of assistance from the state.
