Volodymyr Zelensky. All about his personal life: house, cars, wife and children

You can become a neighbor of “candidate Ze” for $245,000. In the cottage town where he lives, there are still empty houses and land, Varvara Kvitka reports on the website Country.

Recently, 41-year-old showman Vladimir Zelensky, who is running for president, filed his electronic declaration, and after some time corrected it, adding the missing items. Namely: his wife’s car, a BMW X5 (2011) and specified that since May 2012 he has owned 300 shares of the company Green Family LTD (Nicosia, Cyprus). The rest of the columns remained unchanged.

The declaration revealed that the family of the head of the Kvartal 95 studio has quite a list of residential properties, namely a mansion near Kiev, five apartments in the capital, and a 90-meter apartment in Britain. According to the document, its value at the time of purchase was more than 42,000,000 hryvnia, most likely the housing is located somewhere in the center of London. Interestingly, these apartments are the most expensive of all that Zelensky has, and were purchased in November 2014.

However, Zelensky is conducting his election campaign here in Ukraine, so “Strana” decided to find out where exactly the showman lives. As it turned out, Volodymyr Zelensky and his family live in the village of Ivankovichi (Vasylkovsky district, Kyiv region). The cottage town of “Maetok” is located 30 kilometers from the capital.

According to the declaration, the showman bought his 353-square-meter house in 2008 for 814,855 hryvnia. At that time, the exchange rate was 6.87 hryvnia per US dollar, so the price of the mansion was $118,610.

The village of Ivankovichi and the surrounding area are considered one of the most ecologically clean areas of the capital. On one side, the village is surrounded by a centuries-old pine forest, on the other – a birch grove.

There is a whole security detachment at the entrance to the cottage town. You will be allowed into the territory only if the owner of the property confirms that he is waiting for you. And you can view the mansions for sale by prior arrangement with a realtor and only in his company.

It should be noted that you can become Zelensky’s neighbor for at least $245,000. This price includes a 25-acre plot and a house with an area of ​​355 sq. m, but without finishing work.

The video also shows fragments of the interior of Ze’s house (as Zelensky is called in the show business crowd). In particular, a large kitchen-dining room where he prepares breakfast.

Instead of a garage, there is a canopy under which Volodya parks luxury cars. In particular, Zelensky himself drives a Land Rover SUV. Most often with a driver and escort cars with security.

The village has a private kindergarten and school, a play area with all kinds of slides and swings, a sports ground and park alleys. A car wash and service station are close at hand. Residents also have their own lake at their disposal, where fish are released every season. They even hold competitions for the best fisherman among residents of the cottage town.

Zelensky previously called the apartments in this elite area a “dacha” in his interviews, but it is obvious that the family lives here not seasonally, but permanently.

Spouse and children

The comedian met Elena Kiyashko (maiden name) when he was 17. The couple dated for eight years and in 2003 Vladimir proposed to Elena, and they soon got married.

It is interesting that after meeting Zelensky, his girlfriend Elena went to rehearsals and performances with his participation. At first, she was just present at brainstorming sessions, and then she involuntarily got involved, began to suggest some funny moments, came up with situations and sketches. Later, she began to travel to other cities with the team, and someone suggested that Elena become a full-fledged author of texts. So she ended up as an author and screenwriter in the “95th Quarter” team.

A little later, Zelensky told Telenedelya that he knew nothing about it and it was a surprise: “Before that, he and Lena said that they wanted to try their hand at the project, and I said: “No way!” They didn’t come to the recording of the next episode – they lulled me into a false sense of security, and I relaxed. And then I didn’t expect them anymore. Lena and one of the guys helped prepare the jokes.” When asked how Sasha spent the prize money, her father replied that she was not greedy and gave it to children for treatment: “She gave it to some kids for treatment. She is not greedy. And not a spendthrift. She got it from her mother. Lena raises her in such a way that there should be nothing superfluous: this is expensive, this is unnecessary, this has already happened, why do you want it again? I have a different principle: no money – that means no money. Got it – everyone goes out and party! There should be fun and happiness around.”

Cars and income

The family’s car fleet consists of three cars. The showman owns a nearly new Land Rover, purchased in 2016 for almost UAH 5 million. His wife owns a Mercedes S 500 4 MATIC and a BMW X5 SUV (2011), added later to the declaration.

In 2017, the artist declared almost 8 million hryvnias of income. This includes income from shows and concerts, as well as renting out foreign real estate – apparently, we are talking about that very London apartment.

The Zelensky family has about $750,000 and one and a half million in hryvnia in their accounts. The couple uses the services of Privat and OTP Bank.

The couple also owns several companies in Cyprus and the Virgin Islands. Three companies are registered to Zelensky and one to his wife.
