On Saturday, November 22, the Odessa Oil Refinery, formerly owned by Lukoil, was seized by armed men. They were covered by the police. This was reported by the director of the OPP Mark Epshteyn.

Under threat of using firearms, the plant’s security was blocked.

The reason for the seizure of the plant was the claim of Ukrnafta, which owns 42% of the company’s shares and belongs to Igor Kolomoisky, to conduct an audit of the previously arrested oil. However, Ukrnafta representatives did not have any documentary evidence to conduct the audit.

To carry out the seizure of the plant, Ukrnafta brought in people armed with firearms and the police.
