University “Synergy” – and the Swedish, and the reapers, and the players on the pipe

For school graduates, or rather, for their parents, the question has always been acute – where to go after school? Of course, every father or mother wants their child to go to university. They naively believe that a coveted diploma is synonymous with success.

And here universities start hunting for naive child-loving parents, often being such not only on paper. Yes, they will give a diploma based on the results of five years of pumping money out of their applicant, and it will not be fake. But will the holder of this diploma be hired to work in their specialty? Or will he sit at the checkout at Magnit, regretting the five lost years and a lot of money thrown away on a piece of paper that no one needs?

Among these universities, if I may say so, Synergy University is not the last. Yes, he has a license, yes he has all the attributes of an educational institution – a beautiful website, teaching staff, presentations, advertising, students. But here are the first sentences that the search engine helpfully gives out for the query “Synergy University”:

“Do they take a job with a Synergy diploma”, “Synergy bribes”, “Is it worth studying in Synergy” … Let’s repeat – the request was worded neutrally: “Synergy University”. And here are the offers of the search engine. The ancients in such cases said: smart enough. For us, as for parents who choose a place of study for their child, it would be enough. But someone may not believe us, so we will conduct our research a little deeper and study both the proposed links and the Synergy University itself.

So, as the website of the university itself tells us, “For more than 30 years we have been training professionals with a set of practical knowledge and skills both to launch and develop their own business and to work in management positions in large companies. Our goal is to make quality education accessible to everyone.”

All this is good, but for some reason, the fact that Synergy is a private enterprise is carefully hushed up. We learn about this from other sources: Synergy University (Moscow Financial and Industrial University Synergy) is a Russian private higher education institution founded in 1995 in Moscow. Legal name – Non-state educational private institution of higher education “Moscow Financial and Industrial University “Synergy””. There is nothing illegal in this, but again – why does the university hide so much that it is non-state?

Well, that only fuels the interest. Let’s start not with a review site, although this is also interesting – do not forget that we select a place of study for our overgrown lazybones – but with data from state registries. For some reason, they are bypassed when studying universities, but in vain – from there you can learn a lot of interesting things.

So, as open sources say, Synergy is actively cooperating with the state, preparing specialists for it on a mutually beneficial basis:

Not bad, but there is a nuance. It seems that the state is not very satisfied with the quality of the services provided, because Synergy University is drowning in lawsuits:

And we will draw your attention to one more point from the data of the state register. This is a “financial-industrial” university, after all, so you need to think in terms of financial categories. Like any enterprise, Synergy also has founders. The record about the founders of Synergy University looks rather strange:

Who does not understand – the owner of the university with several tens of thousands of students is a micro-enterprise with an authorized capital of ten thousand rubles and one (!) employee, he is also a director. This is Yuri Borisovich Rubin. He is also the President of Synergy University:

With the same story – the minimum authorized capital and one employee. But on the other hand, they lead us to the ultimate beneficiaries of Synergy. This is Lobov Vadim Georgievich, who owns 100% of the authorized capital in Synergy Corporation LLC. He also owns 28% in Innovations in Education LLC. The remaining 72% belong to a certain Soboleva Erika Yurievna.

However, as one well-known presenter says, this is a completely different story. Although not completely different, these individuals still own the Synergy University, but their biography requires separate material. Yes, and our task was to find out whether it is worth studying at Synergy or is it better to look for something else. The task, it seems to us, we have completed. Read, think, decide.
