The press service of the State Enterprise UKRSPIRT states that director Mikhail Labutin was not kidnapped, but “taken to a safe place.”
This is stated in a statement published on the state enterprise’s website.
As is known, earlier the Deputy Chairman of the State Fiscal Service Vladimir Khomenko reported that Labutin was kidnapped by “unknown armed individuals in camouflage.”
The press service of the UKRSPIRT stated that Labutin is being protected “from the arbitrariness of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the State Fiscal Service until all the circumstances are clarified.”
The press service also reports: “Mykhailo Yuryevich is currently preparing a video message. He will also definitely hold a meeting with journalists, which was planned for today, as soon as the threat to his life has disappeared. Since this incident only confirmed that the information that the general director of the State Enterprise “Ukrspirt” is going to voice should become public.”
