Journalists analyzed the total amount of expenses and found that the average European spends 11.6% of the total expenses on utility bills. In particular, a resident of Germany spends 14.8% of total expenses, an American – 6.9%, a resident of Australia – 8.1%, a Frenchman – 11.7%. The same figure in Ukraine is 16.4%. However, after the July price increase, the share of total expenses of Ukrainian citizens will increase to 18-19%.
Journalists also write that according to “false statistics according to Valtsmanat,” the average nominal salary in Ukraine in May 2016 was UAH 4,984 thousand. Which in US currency is about $200. In Germany and France, the average salary is $2.4 thousand. In the USA – $4 thousand.
