The trade turnover between Russia and China has surpassed the record.
The data of the Main Customs Administration of China show that the trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 29.3% last year. The indicator amounted to 190.271 billion dollars, the correspondent reports. DOPs with reference to RIA News”.
China imported goods to the Russian Federation for 76.122 billion. And deliveries from Russia to this country increased by 43.4% (that is, they amounted to 114.149 billion).
Recall that at the end of December 2022, President of Russia Vladimir Putin had a remote meeting with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping.
The Russian leader, in particular, then toldthat the countries managed to ensure record high growth rates of mutual trade, by the end of the year it will increase by about 25%.
We also note that the XIV BRICS summit, chaired by China, took place last summer. Russian President Vladimir Putin also took part in the event.
The topic was “Strengthening the high-quality BRICS partnership as we enter a new era of global development”. Reportedthat the main agreements were recorded in the Beijing Declaration of the XIV BRICS Summit.
