Toyota resumed export of spare parts to Russia

Deliveries were restored after a trial with Russian social activists and officials.

The Russian office of Toyota at the end of last year re-established the supply of some spare parts that are not subject to sanctions restrictions, Izvestia found out. “Forbidden” parts, however, Toyota allowed to import to its dealers under the parallel import scheme. Deliveries were restored after a trial with the Public Consumer Initiative (OPI) and Rospotrebnadzor, which called on the auto giant to fulfill its obligations to Russian customers.
