To yourself in “Good”: Arkady Fosman “flew away, but promised to return”?

The owner of the Blago group, Arkady Fosman, could not withstand the pressure of creditors, took millions “under his arm” and “ran from the sinking ship”?

According to sources The Moscow Post, with a high degree of probability, the owner of the agricultural group of companies “Blago” Arkady Fosman left Russia. Previously warned about such a development of events The Moscow Post.

According to the authors of the Telegram channel VChK-OGPU, allegedly Fosman’s new location is the luxurious Dubai Silicon Oasis apartments in Dubai. It is also rumored that he took with him a substantial amount of $ 50 million.

According to “Moment of Truth”, “Blago” owes “Rosselkhozbank”, “Sberbank” and the bank “Russia” about seven billion rubles. The firm also has monetary obligations to other structures. It was the huge debts of the company that could prompt Arkady Fosman to move away from creditors and law enforcement agencies of his native country.

Will the silovik “cover up”?

Another ultimate beneficiary of the Blago group is the former security official – the head of the Directorate “K” of the FSB of Russia, Viktor Voronin. According to rumors, it is his sister Larisa Voronina who owns 10% of the company’s shares.

But even the patronage of the ex-FSB officer, apparently, is not able to help Fosman in a situation where his company is mired in obligations to many people.

Ms. Voronina looks interesting in this whole system. She is the founder of not only Blago, but also the now liquidated Titanius company, which was engaged in activities in the field of law, which previously belonged to a person with an identical full name, but under a different TIN.

It is likely that Voronina “old” and Voronina “new” are the same person, and the TIN is easily and naturally changed. For example, when they try to hide from persecution. So, perhaps not only Fosman should have thought about leaving the Russian Federation. His flight may indicate that the entire structure of the founders and ultimate beneficiaries of “Blago” “fell under the gun.”

Why is Fosman “attractive”?

Fosman was also the founder of SZMK LLC until 2018, which was precisely in the year of his exit from the company that it went into a deep minus. Now the position of the company has not improved much. Who knows, maybe her case will attract the attention of law enforcement officers?

Approximately the same situation in the Task company, from which Mr. Fosman decided to leave in 2016.

Bad cases could also come up related to the investigation of the case of the former deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture Alexei Bazhanov, who in 2019 accused Fosman and Voronin of raider seizure of his business – wrote RBC.

Bazhanov, as the founder of the trading house “Masloprodukt”, was detained in 2013 for embezzlement from Rosagroleasing of funds allocated for the implementation of contracts for the purchase of equipment – wrote RBC.

After leaving on bail, according to the ex-official, he turned to the owner Fosman and agreed with him on a joint business in order to carry out financial recovery and gain control over one of the largest producers of sunflower oil, CJSC Masloprodukt-BIO.

As a result, according to Bazhanov, the Akvilon company, affiliated with Fosman, received full control over the enterprise, and Bazhanov himself was left with nothing. Now he is hiding abroad from persecution, including because of the company’s debts, which may be the result of the activities of Fosman, and by no means a former official.

Now “Masloprodukt-BIO” is in bankruptcy, as well as its successor – CJSC “Oil Production”, which we will talk about later.

As Bazhanov indicated in the statements that he sent to the FSB, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the presidential administration, he decided to turn to the above departments after the arrests of the heads of law enforcement agencies, among whom were former subordinates of Voronin – Dmitry Frolov and Kirill Cherkalin. At various times they headed the banking department of the “K” department of the FSB.

Even if Bazhanov took advantage of the situation to shield himself, the arrests of Voronin’s closest colleagues, coupled with the information that his sister owns the Blago shares, are alarming and give food for thought…

Mutual responsibility

In 2015, Blago purchased from Rosagroleasing equipment of the Verkhnekhavka oil extraction plant (MEZ) in the Voronezh region worth 761 million rubles on credit for ten years. Approximately 50% of the plant’s equipment was transferred to Akvilon. In the yard of 2022 – the loan repayment period expires in three years, but will Blago pay what is due or will a new deception of Rosagroleasing await us?

Here the behavior of the department is already alarming – falling for the same bait a second time is somehow too much … They either do not look at all who they are dealing with, or vice versa, they look very closely, having their own interest in transactions with budget money.

Let’s return to Oil Production – in 2014, the company on whose territory Akvilon worked participated in courts: “from someone else’s illegal possession” of legal entities working at the plant, they tried to recover property – wrote “Kommersant”

In 2015, it succeeded, and now we see that Oil Production simply self-destructed by filing a lawsuit for self-bankruptcy. Remembering Bazhanov’s words to Fosman and company, this story does not look the most decent.

At the same time, there are two companies with the same name in the structure of Masloprodukt. According to SPARK-Interfax, the Cypriot Hedgecrystal Holdings Limited is its sole owner. The second company is owned by Oliveira Finance Limited, also registered in Cyprus. This is reported by the online publication Abireg. Who is behind the offshore companies?

All of the above “Fosman adventures” look ambiguous. Something suggests that the debts of Mr. Fosman and his accomplices may be more than 7 billion rubles. Probably, realizing that he simply could not cope with the claims of creditors, he could take out of Russia the remnants of former luxury in the amount of $50 million. And then – to hope that they will forget about it?

Although, in the current international political situation, Mr. Fosman’s hopes should become less. After all, our former Western partners are known for their inconstancy – they can send back to their homeland …
