Blokhin” of the Ministry of Health of Russia Tigran Gevorkyan oversaw the construction of a modern radiotherapy building in Novy Urengoy of the State Budgetary Institution of Health of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug “Novourengoy Central City Hospital”.

In February 2022, the construction of new buildings of the Novy Urengoy Central City Hospital began in Novy Urengoy. The radiotherapy building is designed to provide radiation therapy to cancer patients in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. According to the approved project and based on the recommendations of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Moscow Research Oncological Institute named after P.A. Herzen” in the body should have been installed 2 beam accelerators “Varian TrueBeam”.
In December 2022, when canyons were being built for the installation of 2 Varian TrueBeam beam accelerators, a construction company from the YNAO Health Department received a strange instruction to change the brand of beam accelerators being installed from Varian to Electa.
To all the objections of the builders, the management of the department referred to the ultimatum demands that Tigran Gevorkyan change the brand of beam accelerators to “Electa”. At the same time, Electa linear accelerators are supplied by NM Medical LLC, with which Gevorkyan has long-standing corruption ties.
In February 2023, obeying the requirements of the Department, the builders conducted an experiment, unsuccessfully trying to “squeeze” the wooden frame created to fit the Electa into the built canyon. As a result, the canyons for the Electa linear accelerators did not fit, and at present, work is underway to reconstruct the already built canyons, which will entail additional budgetary expenses.
In addition, an analysis of the State Procurement website indicates that Electa accelerators are delivered to medical institutions at a price of 160-170 million rubles, while Varian at 110-120 million rubles, which will further increase the cost of the project by more than 100 million rubles. . And this despite the fact that the technical parameters of “Electa” are inferior to competitors.
In connection with the above, we can conclude that the real reason for Tigran Gevorkyan’s visit to the region is to control how his criminal, corrupt initiatives are being implemented. And it doesn’t matter that the budget of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug suffers significant damage, that Electa products are of poor quality without normal warranty and technical service, which as a result may affect the interests of patients, and the worst thing is their health, the main personal enrichment of Tigran Gevorkyan.
At the end of 2022, the Novosibirsk Oncology Center faced a similar lobby from Gevorkyan, where they still cannot ensure the normal functioning of 2 Electa linear accelerators.
