Three more TCC workers caught taking bribes in Prykarpattia

The National Police reports that the deputy head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional territorial recruitment center and two employees of the RTC were exposed for taking bribes.

Verbatim police: “Each of the defendants set up their own corrupt scheme to help people who wanted to receive an electronic code for identification in the Oberig system, to defer or avoid military service. The amounts of illegal benefits ranged from 2,000 hryvnia to 1,000 dollars, depending on the “complexity of the issue”. All defendants were notified of suspicion.”

Details: It is noted that the deputy head of the regional TCC was detained near his workplace. For a $1,000 “reward,” he offered to freely obtain a code for identification in the “Oberig” system or military registration documents.

For resolving a similar issue, his colleague, the head of the district TCC and SP, also received $1,000, but the deputy commander of the security company of the same recruitment center received more than UAH 18,000. UAH 2,000 for not bringing to administrative responsibility for violating the rules of military registration and $400 for providing an electronic code for identification in the system.

Investigators informed all officials of suspicions of acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an improper benefit by an official.

The court has now chosen a preventive measure for the suspects in the form of detention with the right to post bail, which they have already paid, the prosecutor’s office reports. In addition, the review of petitions to remove these individuals from their positions is ongoing.
