Thief in law Alexander Babanov, better known as Baban, was detained by police in Khimki; the authority had a Glock combat pistol with him.

According to the publication, employees of the capital’s criminal investigation department and the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the operation. The crime boss was detained on February 9 in Khimki.
The 51-year-old Baban has a lot of previous criminal experience: he was convicted four times, released on parole twice. In his “asset” – robbery, robbery, extortion, banditry and causing grievous bodily harm.
