US Treasury expanded sanctions list of Russians and Russian legal entities. In particular, the children’s camp “Artek”, as well as the mother of the head of Chechnya, Aimani Kadyrova, got into it, according to the agency’s website. In addition, the US has imposed sanctions on children’s rights ombudsmen in several regions. This is Irina Ageeva (Kaluga region), Irina Cherkasova (Rostov region) and Galina Pyatykh (Belgorod region). The list also includes commander of the Akhmad Kadyrov regiment Zamid Chalaev, chairman of the government of Chechnya Muslim Khuchiev, commissioner for human rights in Chechnya Mansur Soltaev, director of Artek Konstantin Fedorenko, chief of staff of the Yunarmiya in annexed Sevatopol Vladimir Kovalenko, rector of Sevastopol State University Vladimir Nechaev and head of the education department of the occupied Melitopol Elena Shapurova.
