Due to this, Zvezda concluded agreements with the Irkutsk apartment building overhaul fund for the replacement of elevator equipment, under which the companies transferred more than 559.6 million rubles, and more than 435.2 million rubles to manufacturing enterprises. The investigation believes that as a result, the defendants illegally earned almost 1 billion rubles.
In addition, Khamulyak, Levchenko and Ryabikin were found guilty of overstating the cost of the work performed and purchased materials, as a result of which they received another 55 million rubles.
Levchenko was arrested in September 2020. Then the representatives of the Investigative Committee named him the deputy general director of Zvezda; the ex-governor’s son’s lawyers insisted that Levchenko had no control over the company. All defendants deny their guilt, emphasizing that the equipment was supplied in full and is functioning properly.

Andrey Levchenko also seized a land plot for individual construction with an area of 589 square meters and a cadastral value of 336.5 thousand rubles in Angarsk and an object of construction in progress located on it with an area of 160.1 square meters and a cost of 53.1 thousand rubles.
Oleg Khamulyak was arrested for a 2009 Honda Fit worth 390,000 rubles and a 45-square-meter residential building worth 1.2 million rubles in Angarsk, while Anton Ryabikin was arrested for an Audi A6 with an estimated value of 120,000 rubles.
