In the city of Bataysk Rostov region, a man drowned in a sewer well, according to the regional head office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

During production repair work, the Russian fell into a mine filled with water and choked. The body of a man in the well was found by local residents, AiF-Rostov adds.

The Investigative Committee is conducting a pre-investigation check on the fact of the death of a person. As part of it, a forensic medical examination was appointed.

Earlier in the Chelyabinsk region, a pensioner drowned while fishing. The body of a man without signs of violent death was taken from the bottom of the city quarry. He choked on the water.
