The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic Valery Pozdnyakov also took part in the meeting. The parties discussed the issue of providing the institution with textbooks and modernizing the premises.

At the beginning of the meeting, Bayarbaatar Bolor noted that 2,706 children study in Russian at school No. 3. Most of the teachers are Russians – 156 teachers from Buryatia. This is the only Russian-language school in Mongolia. This was reported by the press service of the government of Buryatia.

Graduates educational institutions receive Russian-style certificates of education and enter Russian universities. In addition, school staff provide consultations for Ulaanbaatar secondary school No. 162 on the curriculum and help with questions about learning the Russian language.

“Parents send their children to us because it is prestigious – there are MGIMO graduates among the teachers, and some students receive scholarships from Rosneft,” the school director emphasized.

In the new academic year, the school management plans to build an annex with an area of 500 square meters and an estimated cost of 2.5 billion tugriks for preparatory and primary classes. At the moment, primary school students study in rented premises, which imposes its own characteristics on the educational process.

According to B. Bolorom, in the near future, the ranks of students will be replenished by children of employees of the embassies of Belarus and Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Valery Pozdnyakov noted that school No. 3 plans to introduce specialized classes from the new academic year. This will allow excellent students from the tenth grade to continue their studies within the walls of the educational institution.

The parties also raised the issue of providing schools with various textbooks. Here, the minister said that textbooks are updated annually, and in 2022, electronic versions of books were posted on the school website.
