The network reported about alleged bribery in the Lvov TCC. The military responded

The network announced the alleged detention of an employee of the Lviv TCC for corruption. The military registration and enlistment office denies it.

What happened

On Friday, October 25, a number of Lviv Telegram channels reported that the head of the moral and psychological support group of the Sykhovsky district shopping center and joint venture of Lvov was detained “red-handed” near the Auchan shopping center in Sokolniki.

He was allegedly caught accepting a $2,000 bribe. As noted online, the official allegedly demanded a bribe from a TCC serviceman for not being held accountable for being at work while under the influence of drugs and not being transferred to service in the east.

TCC reaction

The Lviv Regional TsK denies media reports about the detention of an employee.

“We declare that the information disseminated does not correspond to reality in any way. This is an information dump aimed at creating a negative image of the military personnel of the Sykhovsky district TCC and joint venture,” the message says.

The military also recalled the punishment for disseminating false information and obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The TCC emphasized that the competent authorities can initiate criminal proceedings against such persons to protect the legitimate activities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the safety of citizens.
