On May 26, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of the Ministry of Economics and Trade began an anti-dumping investigation that concerns the import of food products from Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism). The investigation was launched according to a complaint filed by the Roshen corporation of Petro Poroshenko (Read more: Petro Poroshenko: biography and the whole truth about the “chocolate king” of Ukraine), they write UN.
The holding of the President of Ukraine appealed to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with a request to verify information that in the period 2012-2014, chocolate was imported from Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) in such a way that the financial and economic indicators of national producers of the product decreased significantly.
Within 30 days, the department will consider the complaints of both parties, and in the next 60 days, the department must consider all written comments from the parties.
Let us recall that at the end of 2015, Ukraine exported chocolate worth $158.931 million.
