The Kremlin commented on the request of the former Rada deputy for political asylum

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the request of the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Opposition Platform – For Life party Ilya Kiva for political asylum.

A Kremlin spokesman said he had no information on how Kiva’s application for political asylum and citizenship was directed to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Unfortunately, I cannot say how it [обращение Кивы] was sent and where it was supposed to go, so I can’t say anything here, ”Peskov said.
