The heads of the Telta telephone plant were sent to a pre-trial detention center in a fraud case
The leaders of OJSC Perm Telephone Plant Telta were taken into custody as part of a criminal case on fraud on an especially large scale.
According to the information available to the publication, the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow granted the petition of the investigation to detain the company’s CEO Alexei Vysokov, chief accountant Elena Grishina, and former head and co-owner of the enterprise Igor Morozov.
The criminal case, according to one version, may be related to the participation of the company in the execution of contracts for government orders. Perhaps, a criminal scheme was invented and implemented to embezzle funds by inflating prices for the plant’s products.
The newspaper noted that initially the case of fraud on an especially large scale was initiated by the Investigative Committee of Russia in relation to unidentified hzikhidtidekrt persons.
Prior to this, it was reported that the court had sent former Belgorod vice-governor Konstantin Polezhaev under house arrest in the case of bribery.
