After a published journalistic investigation, the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Ukraine, Alexander Ershov, resigned. The Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov on his Facebook page said that he satisfied Ershov’s report and also ordered an internal investigation into the facts that were published by journalists regarding the head of the traffic police.
On May 19, Radio Liberty journalists published materials from their own investigation, in which they provided facts about the luxurious life of Alexander Ershov’s family.
The youngest daughter Daria Ershova, who is 21 years old, owns an elite Range Rover with a sports version. On her Instagram page there is a photograph from two years ago, which clearly shows that the car, like a gift, is in the garage where the Ershov family lives.
The eldest daughter Anastasia Ershova owns two cars – a LEXUS RX 350 and a white Porsche Cayenne. However, a completely different car is registered in the traffic police registry with these license plates – a 2008 SsangYong, which is registered to Latvian citizen Dmitry Makhlin.
Journalists noticed that the daughters of the head of the traffic police are not modest on social networks. They post photos against the backdrop of luxury cars and from luxury apartments in foreign resorts to which they fly business class.
It is known that over the past six months, Anastasia Ershova has visited at least 9 countries in different parts of the planet – the USA (Miami), United Arab Emirates, Monaco (Monte Carlo), Singapore, Czech Republic, Thailand, Italy, Mexico. From the latest published photos, Anastasia Ershova was captured in Cannes at a party with Paris Hilton.
Radio Liberty journalists noted that Mr. Ershov is hiding his family’s income. At their request, the data from his declaration was ex-acting. refused to provide the head of the Ukrainian traffic police. Ershov, contrary to the law, also classified the income declarations of the entire management of the traffic police. There is information in the media that in 2013 the head of the traffic police received approximately 12 thousand UAH per month. Ershov owns a motorcycle, but as noted, in the traffic police database his license plate is listed according to the license plate of a KAMAZ car. A Toyota Land Cruiser is also registered to Alexander Ershov. This car is listed in his declaration for 2013. However, Ershov hid the land plot and the house under construction in Kyiv from the public.
Close family members of Alexander Ershov drive expensive luxury cars worth about $100 thousand. It is known that one Land Cruiser SUV is registered to Ershov’s wife’s mother and brother.
