Minister Avakov is blocking the international wanted list for his fraudulent partner Pavel Ovcharenko
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been blocking the international wanted list of fraudsters of the Agrain agricultural holding for a month now. Despite the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs received all the necessary documents, the Interpol database still does not contain the relevant information.
As law enforcement sources explained, this passive position of the department is explained by the fact that the main suspect in the Agrain case, Pavel Ovcharenko, is a long-time friend and partner of Minister Arsen Avakov in the gas business.
In particular, the international fraudster Pavel Ovcharenko and the head of law enforcement Arsen Avakov own the Sirius gas well, which produces gas in the Sakhalin gas field.
It is worth noting that Sakhalinka is the largest gas field in Ukraine. It was discovered in 1981; recoverable gas reserves amount to 15 billion cubic meters, gas condensate – 1.7 million tons, oil – 1.7 million tons. For comparison: the annual volume of gas production in the country is 20 billion cubic meters, oil – 4 million tons .
Therefore, it is not surprising that Minister Avakov is blocking the investigation into the Agrain case due to the risk of losing friendly relations with Ovcharenko’s partner, because we are talking about monthly billions in profits.
At the same time, according to law enforcement officers, it is a well-known fact that Pavel Ovcharenko is currently in France, but they will not be able to return him to Ukraine as long as the Minister of Internal Affairs covers him.
