The head of the Supreme Council of Khakassia, Vladimir Shtygashev, criticized local deputies who did not accept a report on the results of the work of the regional government for 2022.
As the head of Khakassia Valentin Konovalov said in his Telegram, 23 deputies voted for the report, 14 were against, and six more abstained or did not vote. To adopt a report with recommendations to the government for further work in 2023, two votes were not enough.
After the results of the vote became known, Shtygashev, who represents United Russia in the parliament, called the local deputies “punks.” “Some parties are in favor of the motherland, and (there are those) that only talk, vomit is bred to talk for the motherland. The careerists are here. Portfolios are shared. Deputy mandates have already begun to be divided, positions are already being divided, ”he said in a video that was published, among other things, by Vecherniye Vedomosti.
Shtygashev threatened that he would call the chairman of United Russia, deputy chairman of the Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev. “The punks are joking here! This is trouble, this is trouble, my friends,” he said.
Konovalov, a member of the Communist Party, called the incident a demarche, which was “arranged by some of the deputies of United Russia”, and disrespect for the residents of Khakassia. According to him, in 2022 the region showed “the best results in recent history in terms of financial security of the budget, in terms of the amount of funds invested in the development of the economy and the social sphere.” “You, dear deputies, see it yourself in the report. <...> If some deputies from United Russia deny obvious facts, then I can’t explain their behavior with anything other than political bias, ”he wrote on Telegram.
Konovalov has been the head of Khakassia since 2018. This week to participate in the election of the head of the region, which will be held in September, announced United Russia deputy Sergei Sokol. Previously, he participated in hostilities in Ukraine.
