The funeral mafia of Arthur Palatny or the jackals of “Strike” in the ritual business

Those who say that living in Kyiv is expensive are deeply mistaken. Living in the capital is not much more expensive than in any other city in our country. Living in Kyiv is not expensive. It is expensive to die in Kyiv. More precisely, to bury.

Here is an excerpt from a letter from Kiev Natalya Vinokurova, who a few days ago was faced with the work of scum (sorry, but these people simply cannot be called otherwise), who crushed the funeral business of the capital. Natalia’s father died, her mother called an ambulance, whose employees called the police: “Two cops arrived … and like a titka, like she introduced herself as a doctor. Mom fed me, that they were far away, the titka answered, that she was already calling out to people, as if they were guilty of taking the body to the mortuary. After 10 minutes, silly boorish lads appeared at the door of our house, and they started ticking the photos of the coffins and rahuvat, in a bag we will have to pay. Mom phoned me, so that I could talk to them, because I didn’t understand anything. I dvіchi spit chi sovereign stink pracіvniki, sang scho like that. As a result, the stinks were charged for 12,700 UAH for the delivery of the body to the mortuary and the conduct of the patroztin (as it was said later, that those remaining services, on the basis of the right to the skin of the bulk of Ukraine, are free of cost). І more for 19 500 UAH for a modest cremation procedure. I paid 12,700 UAH for a card, the number they gave me was given. Our other servants have won the blessing of the year.”

Further, when the first shock passed, Natalya tried to find out on what grounds she was ripped off for what they should do for free and how the funeral home workers (it was the Ritual 911 company) found out about the death so quickly, but nothing really did not achieve it. In order not to retell the story of Natalia, we briefly summarize: the relatives of the deceased Kyivans are torn off money for those services that should be paid for by the state; employees of some funeral homes work closely with the police and doctors in Kyiv – otherwise how do they find out so quickly about a person’s death?; relatives of the deceased are arrogantly “bred” for money near the still warm body. Attempts to find any kind of justice after people realize that they were simply brazenly deceived are shattered, since the funeral business of the capital is controlled by someone from the highest echelons of power in Kyiv.

This is in short. Anyone who has dealt with the organization of a funeral in Kyiv can tell a lot of details, but the essence is still the same: the hyenas from the funeral business brazenly and cynically rob the people of Kiev, taking advantage of their psychological defenselessness, simply cashing in on someone else’s grief. Money is pulled from the relatives of the deceased at all stages: orderlies, mortuary, loaders, coffins, digging graves, certificates, changing clothes … This stops only when people run out of money.

Who is behind all this? After all, according to statistics, an average of 40,000 people die in Kyiv every year. There are (again on average) one hundred funerals per day. This is without the coronavirus and the war. How much money these two factors added to the pockets of the jackals from the funeral business can only be guessed at. Remember the numbers mentioned above and multiply by this amount. Turnovers are simply outrageous. It is clear that such a flow of money simply could not be missed by the people who control the capital. One of those who are named among the main beneficiaries of the funeral business in Kyiv is Artur Palatny, a longtime associate of Klitschko both in the Udar party and the Kyiv City Council, and in the “organized criminal group Klitschko-Palatny”. At least, the lawyer Konstantin Bedovoy insists on the latter, who has long known the Kyiv underground kitchen and was also a former deputy of the Kiev City Council from “Udar” at one time.

However, let us return to the Ritual 911 office, with which our story began. If you open the register of legal entities, it is easy to see that its beneficiary is one of the leaders of the Kyiv Boxing Federation Oleksandr Negoda.

What does Arthur Palatny have to do with it? And here is the composition of the leadership of the Kyiv Boxing Federation:

It is she, according to Bedovoy, who is the basis for the “power” bloc of the Klitschko-Palatny organized criminal group. Negoda himself is part of the corporate chain of “Strike” and is in close proximity to Arthur Palatny himself.

As another person, a well-known investigator of corruption schemes Yevgeny Plinsky, states, Artur Palatny has long controlled the entire dark side of the funeral business in Kyiv. Sale of places in cemeteries (from 5 to 15 thousand dollars), resolving issues on Baikove, the topic of the crematorium, and so on, everything has long been under him.

The only niche that the guys have not yet managed to crush is the care of the dead at home and the capital’s hospitals with their morgues. It was under this “topic” on Negoda that the ritual company “Ritual 911” was formed.

However, the paradox is that if you open a search engine and type in “Ritual 911” there, it will turn out to be a strange thing – the company that has closed the lion’s share of the capital’s funeral business does not even have its own website. How then are customers looking for them?

However, we have already told how clients are “looking for” this company at the beginning of the material. But it’s not all oddities. When Yevgeny Plinsky tried to ask the morgue workers where the very pumped-up employees of Ritual 911 had just taken several bodies from, who exactly took these bodies, the morgue employees for some reason simply fled.

Of course, we would also have to keep the intrigue in our story and, according to the classics of the genre, reveal the secret of the company not at the beginning of the material, but at the end. But we are writing, unfortunately, not a detective story. We write about people who profit from grief. Therefore, the answer to the question why employees of municipal hospitals and everyone who encounters sports employees of Ritual 911 is so wildly afraid to talk about their counterparties is understandable. All of them are well aware of the possible consequences of their talkativeness.

Started “Ritual 911” to crush the “black market” of ritual services in the capital last year, at the height of mortality from coronavirus, from the Obolon microdistrict, from hospital No. 8:

It was here that the “pilot project” of the work “Ritual 911” was launched, when the company’s employees got to the house of the deceased almost before the doctors and the police. Well, then – you already know. Only the amounts differ, and everything else is one to one. A separate price list takes money even for the removal of the body. Like loaders – 50 hryvnia per floor for each carrier. It is clear that it is necessary to take out the body, but at least this service was not already prescribed as a separate item. They charge for everything – for delivery to the morgue, for each certificate, for an autopsy, for dressing the body … But the services of “loaders” are simply the pinnacle of cynicism.

However, it is clear why these amounts are taken separately and as a “cash” – they simply are not displayed in the contract.

Despite the fact that this “act” indicates the amount of 2,500 hryvnias, the delivery of this particular deceased to the mortuary cost 5,400 hryvnias – 1,700 were taken for a car, and 1,200 – for removal from the sixth floor.

Therefore, a separate oral “price” for everything. And this is by no means the amateur performance of the sports guys from Ritual 911. Everything is calculated and goes to the cashier “Ritual 911”. Where already this money is summed up and goes further.

And this is just the beginning. Here is another contract.

Despite the amount indicated in it – UAH 6,500 – the “pleasure” from the work of “Ritual 911” cost 18,500 hryvnias. The sports guys who arrived in front of the police knocked down the relatives of the deceased for another 12,000 hryvnias.

Well, in general, it’s understandable. But for comparison – state prices. The mortuary is not a private institution, its services are regulated by the state:

How was it – feel the difference? Even based on the amounts displayed in the contracts, it becomes clear – only in the storage of the body and preparation for the funeral, “Ritual 911” has 500% of the fat.

An autopsy, for example, costs 957 hryvnia, not 4,000 hryvnia. The difference is three thousand hryvnia. Where is she going, do you think? And so it is in everything. In addition, Ritual 911 does not provide any of these services – everything is done by a state hospital. How then to call the people involved in this? Hyenas and jackals are still very soft.

Here is the answer to the question why everyone is so avoiding questions about the “Ritual 911” – it’s not for the beautiful eyes that state hospitals cooperate with them? Definitely, pathologists, chief doctors and heads of departments feed on this business. Who else is in the chain – one can only guess. And how much they are “unfastened” by boxers who have crushed the funeral business under them – too.

Yes, and the police and the ambulance, too, must be unfastened. Is it not out of the kindness of their souls that their employees call the representatives of Riutala 911 and report on the dead? It is naive to think that the leadership of all these structures is not aware of it. So – in the share and they.

He ordered the former police chief of Kyiv Krishchenko to leak information about the dead to his employees. Then, when he was removed from this position, there was a failure – the new leadership did not agree to continue his “work” for a long time. Although all hospitals have already been “strongly recommended” to cooperate with representatives of “Ritual 911”.

So that there is an understanding of why the chief doctors listened so willingly to the “recommendation” from the mayor’s office – they are appointed not by the Ministry of Health, as one might think, but by the city leadership. Who is in charge of Kyiv – no need to remind. Under what conditions they agreed with the new leadership of the city police – you can guess. But the fact that ordinary police officers promptly call Ritual 911 about “fresh” corpses clearly shows that we agreed.

What is this fusion of private business and state bodies called in normal countries? That’s right – the mafia. Funeral mafia. The funeral mafia of Arthur Palatny and Vitaliy Klitschko. And the boxing federation of Kyiv – athletes the guys are strong, it’s just to wear bodies, but boxers also need money. So everyone is happy. Except, of course, the people from whom this money is taken. But is a hyena or a jackal interested in the feelings of the victim?
