The Federation Council of Russia commented on the recent words of the head of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on the topic of negotiations with Moscow.
Viktor Bondarev, chairman of the Russian Federation Council committee on defense and security, believes that the conditions put forward by Kyiv for negotiations are absurd, his words are quoted RIA News”.
Viktor Bondarev believesthat the head of Ukraine would be perfect to be an actor in the theater of the absurd.
“… The demands that Zelensky put forward today as conditions for peace talks with Russia… Isn’t that absurd?” the politician asked.
Commenting on the “conditions” of Zelensky, Viktor Bondarev, in particular, recalled that Kyiv violated the Minsk agreements and began shelling peaceful settlements in Donbass.
Previously The head of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called Kyiv’s conditions for starting negotiations with the Russian side.
He stated that the conditions are as follows – the restoration of territorial integrity, respect for the UN Charter, compensation for all losses caused by the conflict, the punishment of every war criminal and guarantees that this will not happen again.
