The tax claim against the concert agency of the singer Alsou, the company “Exclusive Art”, claims Mash. The agency has shown zero activity for two years. Ahead of Alsou are several performances in the Kremlin Palace. At the same time, the company through which all cash transactions must pass has been reporting a zero balance since 2020.
According to SPARK, operations on the company’s accounts that were opened with the bank have been suspended. Elena Kim is listed as the head of the agency, and the singer Alsou is the beneficiary. Elena Kim declined to comment.
Problems could have arisen due to the crisis in the industry, since there are very few concerts now, says Pavel Zyukov, managing partner and head of tax practice at Coleman Legal Services, chairman of the Opora Rossii Tax Committee:
“Operations on accounts are suspended on the basis of the Tax Code, based on the decision of the tax authority. There may be several reasons for this. If the taxpayer did not submit the declaration on time, which is possible in this case. If the company did not have any activity, it is possible that it did not submit a tax return, and because of this, its accounts were blocked. Perhaps she did not respond to the request of the tax authority within the period established by law or untimely opened the requirement and did not submit a receipt for the opening of this requirement within the period established by law. There may also be tax evasion, but due to the fact that zero activity is indicated, there was hardly such a basis. It can be assumed that her accounts were blocked for these reasons. The authorized capital indicates signs that the company at one time carried out large-scale business activity, the risks were leveled by increasing the size of the authorized capital. Perhaps now, due to the lack of concerts, the company did not receive income. It is difficult to say what was the basis for blocking: a tax audit or non-compliance with the rules for filing tax returns or responding to a request from the tax authorities.”
Earlier, the tax authorities became interested in the activities of Russian bloggers. For example, Elena Blinovskaya and Lerchek are accused of tax evasion.
