State prosecution in the course of consideration in the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow of a criminal case against the former director for legal support and corporate governance of the Rostec state corporation Alla Laletina read out the indictment, according to which the defendant is charged with taking a bribe for a total amount of almost 67 million rubles. As the prosecutor clarified, this amount includes the vacation of the Laletina family in Turkey, a Louis Vuitton suitcase, a juicer and a Persian carpet.
“The accusation is clear to me. I don’t admit my guilt in full,” Laletina said after the prosecutor announced the indictment.
As follows from the materials of the criminal case, Alla Laletina, in the period from February 2018 to April 2019, being the director of legal support and corporate governance of the state corporation Rostec, received a bribe on an especially large scale from the general director of JSC Novosibirsk Plant of Artificial Fiber ( NZIV) Rustam Izmailov. According to the prosecutor, the money was transferred in small tranches during this period. “In total, during this period, Laletina received a bribe from Izmailov in the form of money and other property services for a total of 66 million 830 thousand rubles,” the indictment says.
It also follows from it that, in addition to money, Izmailov paid Laletina and her family a trip to Turkey in the amount of 3.1 million rubles, bought a Louis Vuitton suitcase for the mother of the accused and a juicer. In addition, the businessman gave her a bribe of 3 million rubles for the purchase of a Persian carpet.
“This is really an absurd accusation: a carpet, a juicer and a suitcase. We draw the attention of the court that there is no carpet, no juicer, no suitcase in the case file. The prosecution often refers to such concepts as “unspecified time” and “unspecified place.” In the case there is not a single fact of fixing the transfer of funds to Laletina,” her lawyer said in turn. Earlier, the defense asked the court to return the case to the prosecutor’s office, but the presiding judge Diana Mishchenko refused this request.
@vchkogpu, 06.08.2022 04:33: A source of the Cheka-OGPU said that in the course of further investigation, many more similar episodes surfaced. For example, one of the structures owned by the family of the Deputy Mayor of Moscow Maxim Liksutov (probably, it is more correct to say to the former family, since with he fictitiously divorced his wife) allocated money for the chic life of Laletina – she paid for the services of cosmetologists, hairdressers, the purchase of clothes, and even the servants and gardener who worked in her mansion near Moscow. Instead of another structure controlled by the Liksutovs, there were very lucrative contracts through Rostec.
There were other benefactors as well. Since Laletina at one time was extremely close to Sergei Chemezov, a real battle unfolded around these episodes. One tower of the Lubyanka believed that all episodes should be twisted and presented to Laletina.
And the other tower of the Lubyanka categorically insisted that the matter was far-fetched and that work should be curtailed on the already existing episode. Moreover, the bribe-giver Izmailov was ready to retract his testimony. The battle of the towers was very fierce. As a result, Laletina goes to court with one episode so far. — Inset K.ru
