The Solomensky District Court of Kyiv established that the victim and three suspects of kidnapping (part 3 of article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), torture (part 2 of article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and extortion (part 4 of article 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) 200 million dollars Oleg Seminsky, the former general director of PJSC Neftegazdobycha, and now a people’s deputy of the 9th convocation, has a two-month period to complete the familiarization with the materials of the pre-trial investigation in their case. The corresponding decision was made on January 23, 2023 by the minister of Themis Larisa Ishunin, writes Detective-Info.
It follows from its text: when accepting the corresponding verdict, the court partially granted the petition of the security forces. And he set a deadline until March 28 of the current year, inclusive, after which Seminsky and the persons accusing him of kidnapping will be considered exercising their right to access the case materials.
Previously on the pages of Detective-Info reportedthat the completion of the pre-trial investigation in the resonant story of the mysterious disappearance of the ex-top manager of Neftegazdobycha was reported by law enforcement officers a year ago – in early February 2022. Since then, the side of the victim and the four suspects have not fully familiarized themselves with the case. A good reason for the year-long delay in the Palace of Justice was determined only by the fact of mobilization into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of one of the worthy, who is accused of involvement in Seminsky’s kidnapping.
Recall that at the end of January 2021, the security forces reported on the disclosure of a high-profile case of the kidnapping of a former high-ranking official of the largest Ukrainian gas production company of the 2012 model.
