The Central Bank complained about the ex-head of the People’s Bank

Neighbors upstairs reported that the interim administration of the People’s Bank faced numerous cases of opposition from the former chairman of the board of the People’s Bank Sergei Turbin

Turbin decided not to comply with the bankruptcy law on the transfer of title documents to the bank’s assets.

Information about his illegal actions was sent to neighbors on the side “for consideration and adoption of appropriate procedural decisions.”

Upstairs neighbors revoked the license from Halyk Bank Stanislav Kuznetsov in July of this year for underestimating reserves for possible losses and violating anti-money laundering legislation.

The Bank mainly provided bank guarantees, the volume of which exceeded the amount of own funds several times.

Also, the Central Bank noted that this year the bank “in significant volumes” carried out non-transparent transactions with non-resident payment agents on transfers of funds from individuals.

Now the regulator is seeking the bankruptcy of Halyk Bank and has filed a corresponding claim with the Moscow Arbitration Court. The hole in the bank’s balance sheet exceeds 238 million rubles.
