Anton Astakhov – son-in-law of the ex-governor of the Tomsk region Sergei Zhvachkin and the son of the former Commissioner for Children’s Rights of the Russian Federation Pavel Astakhov. He is accused of fraud committed on an especially large scale. Recently, the consideration of the case of Anton Pavlovich was suspended, as he is “seriously ill, which is confirmed by a medical report.”

Astakhov Jr. was detained on November 22, 2021. But the case itself was opened much earlier – on February 15, 2021. These nine months, the Investigative Committee has been identifying the scammers.

According to the UK, everything was like this: in 2019, Astakhov and Arseev persuaded the director OOO “Omega” (OGRN 1073667028016) Evgeniya Razgonyaeva, for him to take a loan from Nizhnevolzhsky Commercial Bank JSC (OGRN 1026400001858). Then Arseev withdrew money from Omega’s accounts to his own accounts.

And so the case was frozen. Say, due to the fact that Astakhov is “seriously ill.” How? Unknown. We assume that this was not without the participation of his influential father and / or his equally influential father-in-law.

Anton Astakhov and Anastasia Zhvachkina started dating while studying at Oxford. Yes, yes, it is not in Russia that the children of such respected fathers receive education. In 2013 they got married.

On May 10, 2022, Zhvachkin voluntarily-compulsorily left the post of head of the region. On the same day, the President of the Russian Federation appointed Vladimir Mazur Acting Governor of the Tomsk Region.

On July 13, Sergei Anatolyevich was awarded the Order of Alexander Nevsky in the Kremlin for “a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the Tomsk region and many years of conscientious work.” In this wording, only one statement is true: he really spent many years in the chair of the head of the region – as many as ten.

By the way, on the same day, July 13, Zhvachkin’s former deputy for investment policy and property relations was detained. Yuri Gurdin. He is accused of embezzlement of budgetary funds on an especially large scale. According to preliminary data from the investigation, from August 2020 to November 2021, the deputy governor organized and managed the embezzlement of funds on an especially large scale – in the amount of at least 70 million rubles allocated from the regional budget as part of the Education national project. He committed the crime together with the director of one of the regional funds. The second person involved in the criminal case was also charged with embezzlement.
On July 28, we were the first to announce the appointment of Zhvachkin as Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom, Alexei Miller. On September 3, this information was confirmed by the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz TG channel.

In general, despite the fact that Zhvachkin’s son-in-law and deputy are under investigation, he – Sergei Anatolyevich – lives to his heart’s content. And the president awarded the order, and became Miller’s right hand. And Gazprom’s salary is clearly higher than the governor’s salary (in 2021, he earned 14.6 million rubles).
