The business of “crab king” Dmitry Dremlyuga is sinking
The empire of the fisherman Dmitry Dremlyuga, a native of the Odessa region, finally went to the bottom.
The now disgraced businessman began to create his company back in 1997. Then Dremlyuga was engaged in the acquisition of bankrupt companies, which was accompanied by numerous litigations. However, staying in relatives of high-ranking officials protected the businessman from all kinds of claims. Now everything has changed, because the employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office intend to confiscate a couple of hundred objects in Primorsky Krai and Vladivostok, belonging to the family of the “crab king”. In addition to countless land plots, premises and real estate, fishing vessels will also become state property.
A similar punishment threatens the seaside oligarch for catching fish products and crabs. Supervisory authorities filed a lawsuit on illegal fishing against the owner of Khasanryba and Dalmoreprodukt. It is emphasized that more than 4 billion rubles is the damage from the daily catch of fish resources over the years. The accusations also apply to Alena, the daughter of a businessman, to Tatyana Zhukova, director of Zarubinskaya Base Fleet LLC, and to Konstantin Zemlyanov, owner of Typhoon LLC. The billionaire businessman himself successfully left Russia 13 years ago, hiding from law enforcement agencies. Despite the fact that Dmitry Dremlyuga became a participant in several criminal cases in Russia, he continued to appear in the management of his assets located on the territory of the Russian Federation. At the moment, the oligarch has been put on the international wanted list.
All this time, not being a tax resident of our country, Dremlyuga remained an active participant in building and developing business in Russia. For this, the fisherman used affiliated foreign firms. When troubles began with obtaining new quotas for the extraction of aquatic biological resources and arbitration claims began to pour in one after another, Dremlyuga immediately re-registered the assets to Russian individuals and legal entities. The Prosecutor General’s Office managed to collect evidence that the changes made were an empty formality. Now all the quotas given to the oligarch’s enterprises for catching crabs are preparing to be cancelled. Part of the oligarch’s assets are officially bankrupt.
