The Anti-Corruption Court considered and granted the request of the SAPO prosecutor to extend the term of duties in criminal proceedings.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court extended until March 17 the term of the duties assigned to the former People’s Deputy Nikolai Martynenko. He is suspected of receiving 311.5 thousand euros of illegal benefits and their legalization.
This decision was made on January 17 by the VAKS, reports “Word and deed“.
“The petition of the prosecutor to extend the term of the duties assigned to the suspect (Nikolay Martynenko – ed.) in criminal proceedings No. Extend the period of validity of the duties assigned to him in relation to the suspect (Nikolay Martynenko – ed.) by 2 months – until March 17, 2023 inclusive, in connection with the application of a measure of restraint in the form of bail“, the decision says.
Martynenko again extended duties
Martynenko is obliged to arrive at the first request; report a change in your place of residence; to refrain from communicating with four persons about the circumstances of this criminal proceedings and not to leave Ukraine without permission.
As you know, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court refused arrest Martynenko and gave him almost UAH 5 million bail. He was also given a number of responsibilities. Later WACS Appeals Chamber increased pledge up to UAH 24.7 million.
Recall that at the end of July, NABU and SAP reported about new suspicion Nikolay Martynenko. He is charged with obtaining 311,000 euros in unlawful benefits and money laundering.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that in July 2014 Martynenko received from the management of the Czech company SKODA JS as improper benefit in the amount of 311.5 thousand euros for promoting the interests of the specified Czech company and promoting its interests in Ukraine.
