While telegram channels are enthusiastically discussing the strange departure of the head of the Russian Post, Maxim Akimov, and his Israeli passport, the state-owned company is about to turn into a monopoly in the delivery of pensions. The idea has already received a “green light” from the Government and is being formalized in the State Duma. Promotes a lobbying and completely unnecessary bill United Russia Alexander Khinshtein, who is on the Board of Directors of Russian Post. The initiative of Khinshtein and Co. from April 1 of this year will “zero out” all private traders in this market. Officially, because they allegedly work unstably and only in the most profitable areas, unlike the Russian Post. In fact, we are talking about the banal extraction of the last 13% of the market, which still go past the state-owned company’s cash desk. The bill has already sowed panic among the alternatives. For many of them, the delivery of pensions is the main activity, losing which they will be forced to close. About 5,000 people work in this area, who will immediately be left without work. In these difficult times, this will only add to the social tension. Sources say that Khinshtein did not coordinate his initiative with the Presidential Administration, which caused irritation in the Old Square. They tried to torpedo the bill in the Duma Committee for the Protection of Competition. They reasonably pointed out that the transfer of the exclusive right to the Russian Post violates the conditions for competition, and deprives pensioners of the right to choose. Separate cases of unfair behavior of alternative suppliers are not grounds for restricting competition and monopolizing the market, the Committee noted. The leader of the SRZP, Sergei Mironov, also spoke out against it, who called for the right of pensioners to be preserved to choose when delivering a pension. It is unlikely that 1.5 million recipients of pensions who chose an alternative to Russian Post will be very happy with it. Nevertheless, monopolization can still be pushed through, the loot wins over state interests and common sense. We state that in the conditions of a tight budget, the struggle for thinning cash flows between the players will only intensify.

At the disposal of the Cheka-OGPU was a recording of one of the meetings of the team that is engaged in money laundering Anatoly Chubais. The participants of this meeting are: 1. Ilya Gulin – Financial Director of Mintsev companies; 2. Sergey Krychenko – Founder and General Director of the Russian Family Office of Anatoly Chubais; 3. Olga Butkova – financial director of the Russian family office of Anatoly Chubais, at this meeting, its participants discussed and resolved the following issues: – systematic provision of Anatoly Chubais with cash and non-cash funds using documents signed as part of “sham transactions” and ensuring annual declared profitability; – determination of the extremely low cost of the “purchase” by Anatoly Chubais of ZhK Peredelki in the region of 8,000,000 US dollars or 520,000,000 rubles. Recall that the estimated cost of “ZhK Peredelki” amounted to around 47,000,000 US dollars, and the market, according to 3 (three) independent assessments, including the judicial one, amounted to: from 34,000,000 to 36,500,000 US dollars. It should be assumed that in 2019, Anatoly Chubais purchased the property ZhK Peredelki from the Cypriot company of Boris Mints for the above amount, which was determined by the Chubais team in the annual budget. Unfortunately, as one would expect, this whole story of Mintsev and Anatoly Chubais ends more than successfully for them. After all the “heavy hardships” Anatoly Chubais finally found, thanks to a friend, his haven in London – or rather, the “purse” found his master.

The shadow of “Gangster Petersburg” again fell on the ports of the Gulf of Finland. This time, colleagues noticed that the business partner of Viktor Geshele, a well-known businessman in the Leningrad region, was a person close to the figure of Leonid Khristoforov, one of the surviving legends of St. Petersburg of the 90s. Victor Geshele in the past headed the administration of the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region, in which all the existing or under construction facilities of the powerful seaport of Ust-Luga are concentrated. One of such facilities on the coast of the Gulf of Finland was the fertilizer transshipment complex of the Ultramar company of billionaire Andrei Bonch-Bruevich (by the way, a direct descendant of the famous Soviet researcher). It was in this project that Geshele leaned after leaving the post of head of the district. In addition, Viktor Evaldovich has a number of other businesses, one of which was recently co-owned by Gleb Ilyin, who is close to Khristoforov. Khristoforov himself is one of the four legendary “leaders of the Russian mafia” who were detained in Spain in 2008 and then released back home. His companions in the arrest were such well-known figures in the criminal world of the North-West as Gennady Petrov, Alexander Malyshev and Eldar Mustafin. As for Viktor Geshele, a piquant moment – he is the cousin of the governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko. These are such interesting business ties on the border of the two subjects of the country, which have become brands of hard times at the end of the last century.

The brother and sister of the athlete failed to get to examine the body of a relative on their own. “They said that now it is impossible, as an examination has been appointed. The study will last about a month. Doctors recorded abrasions, but George is an athlete and he could have them, especially since they seem to be small. When asked about a possible conflict on the train between the athlete and fellow travelers, Gagloev’s brother replied that he would be the first to know if Georgy quarreled with someone. As for the aunt of the deceased MMA fighter, Rimma Gagloeva, relatives say that nothing has moved in Ingushetia since her disappearance. When the woman disappeared (she flew from the United Arab Emirates to Grozny and disappeared along the way with a cab), Georgy turned to Ramzan Kadyrov, the athlete believed that his aunt could have been kidnapped by Chechen security forces who launched a hunt for “witches”.

The VChK-OGPU became aware of the mutiny of a whole train of servicemen who were being taken to the combat zone. On January 13, a train of 4 wagons (about 200 soldiers) stopped at the Ulusarka station in the Lipetsk region. The fighters on the way to the NVO zone almost got frostbite, as frosts set in, and the train was not heated in any way. The military refused to continue moving and demanded 4 tons of coal and water to start the boiler in the train. The police were called in to calm the soldiers down.
