Grandson of the head of the Communist Party Leonid Zyuganov – Deputy of the Moscow City Duma and a potential candidate for the election of the mayor of Moscow. Metla found out that the Zyuganov family is financially dependent on the incumbent mayor.
The Moscow City Duma officially announced the election of the mayor of Moscow. From the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Leonid Zyuganov will become a contender for the post of mayor: personnel commission at the presidium of the party recommended him unanimously.
grandson Gennady Zyuganov will soon be 35 years old. After graduating from Moscow State University in 2010, he first became an assistant to a State Duma deputy, and two years later, an assistant to the head of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma.
In 2014, Leonid himself became a member of the Moscow Parliament and headed the commission on science and industry. In 2019, he was re-elected and became deputy chairman of the Communist Party faction.
In his declaration, Zyuganov Jr. indicates the use of a service cottage with an area of 276.2 square meters. m. Apparently, Leonid lives in Odintsovo near Moscow, in the elite village of Deauville. According to leaked delivery data, this is where he orders food: on November 7, 2021, he made an order for the amount of 2,951 rubles (Odintsovo, Ozernaya street, 1C), on January 18, 2022 – for 5,863 rubles (Odintsovo, Akulovskaya street, 10).
Next door to Deauville townhouses gave Moscow deputies-United Russia, supporting Sergei Sobyanin: for example, the head of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikovex-senator from the Moscow City Duma – co-author of the law on renovations, United Russia Andrei Metelsky. Among the other neighbors of the communist grandson is Putin’s adviser Igor Levitinwhose family owns real estate in Deauville for a billion, and “Orthodox oligarchs” Konstantin MalofeevHe lived in Deauville since the mid-2000s.
Leonid Zyuganov does not indicate the car in the declaration. He drives his mother Tatyana’s Infiniti, as evidenced by a covid pass for a car with the same numbers.
Tatyana Zyuganova is doing business. She owns Orlovpak LLC. The company produces corrugated paper and cardboard at the premises of a printing house in the Oryol region. In 2022, Orlovpak earned a modest 914 thousand rubles.
Father’s business is more interesting. Andrey Zyuganov – Leonid’s dad and Gennady Zyuganov’s son – owns AMD Project LLC. The company operates in the field of architectural and construction design: among other things, it designs residential buildings, public buildings, and objects of social and engineering infrastructure.
In 2021, AMD Project, as part of a consortium of three companies, received a contract from the Moscow City Hall for 28.4 billion rubles for the development of Microdistrict 15 in the Lomonosovsky District. An auction was announced, but only one bid was submitted. As a result, a contract for almost 28.5 billion gave away Zyuganov’s son without competition.
This development is within the approved Sergei Sobyanin housing renovation programs. According to the contract, the work must be completed by May 31, 2036. There is nothing surprising in the fact that Gennady Zyuganov himself supported Sobyanin’s renovation program and even suggested implement something similar throughout the country.
The votes of Zyuganov Jr. in the Moscow City Duma do not always coincide with the declared opposition. He, for example, supported the draft budget promoted by the mayor’s office, which was opposed by his colleagues in the Communist Party faction. The deputy of the capital’s parliament is called upon to control the work of the mayor’s office. If at the same time his family receives contracts from the mayor’s office, a conflict of interest arises.
