START: Vadim Slyusarev: green corridors of Ukrainian smuggling. PART 1
“In civilian life” Vadim Slyusarev became more involved in business – together with his father, for whom he allegedly resigned to care for. Alexey Igorevich Slyusarev is a co-owner of a number of his son’s companies: PE “Oniks-2006” (USRPLU 34447227), LLC “Meta-N” (34466894), “Frontera”, etc. However, the main business of the Slyusarev family was initially smuggling. And in addition to transporting other people’s goods across the border, they also transported their own – mainly tobacco products and alcohol. And after the resignation of Vadim Slyusarev, their family business began to be plagued by failures. For example, in 2017, the Prosecutor General’s Office opened criminal case against their company Duty Free Odessa (36494787) for smuggling cigarettes from Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) (675 thousand packs were arrested).
The situation needed to be corrected. Therefore, Vadim Slyusarev, along with a host of other corrupt officials, decided to bet on a new political force that would remove Poroshenko’s team from the scene. First, he tried to bet on the then still popular and promising Evgeniy Muraev. Through his business partner Andrey Odarchenko (their companies “Rubicon-Traiting” and “Gradient-Invest” are registered in the same office and on the same telephone number), he donated at least 200 thousand hryvnia to the Murevsky party “Nashi” (they also talked about other tranches at amount up to one million hryvnia).
Vadim Slyusarev: How to find employment for your people
However, Muraev’s chances in the presidential elections were rapidly dwindling, and at the end of 2018, Slyusarev switched to the more promising Zelensky. Another old acquaintance helped him with this: former employee of the Kharkov border detachment Pavel Sushko, who worked with Slyusarev back in the “zero”. Sushko became a film director back in 2013 (he directed the comedy “DZIDZIO Contrabass”), and in this field he became close to “95th Quarter”.
In the 2019 elections Sushko was the official representative Zelensky’s team in the Kharkov region (now he heads the regional organization of the Servant of the People party). But how did these Zelensky representatives work on the ground? They assembled official and “shadow” headquarters: the former worked for the public and for the Central Election Commission, but the latter did the main work, negotiating with the local elite (which in Ukraine often includes local corrupt clans and organized crime groups), collecting funding, dividing future positions and mandates . And it was Vadim Slyusarev who actually became the coordinator of the shadow headquarters of “Ze! Team” in Kharkov, bringing all his corrupt friends into it. Through Sushko, he reached Zelensky himself, who hardly knew about the scandalous past of the border guard general. This was not difficult to understand from Zelensky’s very nervous reaction to a question from a Radio Liberty journalist about Slyusarev.
The successful presidential elections in Kharkov for Zelensky, so to speak, strengthened confidence in the leadership of the headquarters there, and Slyusarev also had the opportunity to distinguish himself in the extraordinary parliamentary elections. Then he managed to bring his people under the green banner, and help people associated with Avakov pass through – who, of course, remained indebted to his old acquaintance for this.
In constituency No. 170, the aforementioned Andrei Odarchenko won, who, together with Slyusarev, switched from Muraev to Zelensky. In district No. 173, the mandate was given to the young vice-rector of the Kharkov National University of Internal Affairs, Alexander Bakumov (born 1989), who received this university as a hereditary domain from his father, who died in 2015. Sergei Bakumov. Since 2003, he worked as the head of a department at the University, and in 2014 he was appointed director of the Material Support Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and adviser to Avakov. And Alexander Bakumov, according to data Skelet.Infothere is an older brother Denis, who heads the Regional Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kharkov region. So, Slyusarev took Alexander Bakumov under his wing during those elections, appointing Igor Ponomarenko, who works as the director of Slyusarev’s company Onyx-2006 (34447227), as an authorized representative of the candidate and the Servant of the People party.
In district No. 179, the winner was the “servant of the people” Alexey Kucher (Avakov’s lawyer in the backpack case), to whom Slyusarev assigned another of his employees as an authorized person. Vadim Belichenko, engineer of Tiera LLC (38128349). A few months later, Kucher was appointed head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration. And literally immediately it became known that the new governor wanted to appoint “goptovets” Alexander Malko as head of the regional customs – which caused stormy public outcry, Facts of Kucher’s connection with Slyusarev and Ivanov surfaced.
Well, the authorized person of the candidate Dmitry Mikish, who won in district No. 181, was the director of the scandalous company Frontera. Yuri Stepanets. Of course, Zelensky’s central headquarters did not see anything reprehensible in this: the main thing is that the “servants of the people” won, and it doesn’t matter who exactly marched under the green banner and who helped them in this! Well, now you have an idea who the Ukrainians chose as their “new political force.”
In addition, Slyusarev achieved inclusion in the party list of “Servant of the People” Anna Kolesnik, the daughter of his friend, companion and accomplice Sergei Ivanov. That’s how, thanks to Uncle Vadim, she received her mandate! Moreover, as if as a mockery, Kolesnik received a seat on the parliamentary Committee on Customs and Tax Policy. And one more thing: immediately after the elections, Anna Kolesnik withdrew from the founders of the company STK LTD (42073406), which dealt with tobacco and alcohol (and their smuggling), at the end of 2020 she was restored again – now she owns it again together with Vadim Slyusarev.
But Slyusarev did not stop there: after the elections, he began pushing his people into key positions. For example, he helped Alexander Sirenko, the son-in-law of Sergei Ivanov, get the position of head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the Kharkov DFS (customs). He also contributed to his old friend Alexander Filchakov receiving the position of prosecutor of the Kharkov region.
However, the biggest “personnel special operation” of Vadim Slyusarev and his friend Sergei Ivanov was the appointment of acting. Head of the Customs Service Igor Muratov. And literally immediately after his appointment, Muratov began organizing meetings with Ivanov in the Kiev restaurant “Vino e Cucina”, which attracted the attention of journalists. A scandal arose, as a result of which Muratov was fired four months later under the pretext of “delaying reforms.” Yes, the “green” authorities really don’t want to admit the existence of monstrous corruption in their ranks!
But during these four months, Ivanov and Slyusarev managed to do a lot – that’s why they met with Muratov so often. For example, they carried out a personnel reshuffle at the Transcarpathian customs, returning Vadim Simchera and godfather Sergei Ivanov to the well-functioning smuggling scheme. By the way, Simchera, according to Skelet.Infoalso worked there as the head of the anti-corruption department – it seems that the smuggling organized crime group of Slyusarev-Ivanov always took control of these posts first. So, it was a whole adventure storyafter all, Simchera under Nefedov was almost kicked out of the ranks of the customs service with a wolf ticket. But in the end, under Muratov, he immediately went for a promotion and received the Transcarpathian customs to feed himself and his godfathers.
It should be noted that Vadim Slyusarev, who joined the “greens,” did not lose touch with Muraev. In the summer of 2020, he somehow lobbied for the appointment of Valeria Muraeva, the former wife of Evgeniy Muraev, to the post of deputy head of the Kharkov Regional State Administration. They officially divorced in 2018, although there are persistent rumors about the fictitiousness of this divorce (many Ukrainian corrupt officials do this nowadays in order to preserve their property). In any case, neither the National Corps, which staged a large protest, nor its owner Arsen Avakov liked this appointment – so the appointment did not take place. Moreover, the participants in this action paid even more attention to the smuggler Slyusarev than to the “Rashist” Muraeva!
Vadim Slyusarev: “Servant of the People” or Servant of Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism)?
However, if you evaluate people not by their statements, but by their deeds and business, then Vadim Slyusarev will turn out to be a much greater “Rashist” than Muraeva! We are talking about a scandal in connection with Slyusarev’s “Crimean-Russian voyages”, information about which will be published in the spring of 2021 published by Center.Net. It turned out that only during the period from January 3, 2017 to February 21, 2021, Slyusarev regularly visited the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) and Crimea, and he flew to Simferopol from Moscow and Belgorod (and back), and this is a direct violation of Ukrainian laws. And this is only data for the last three years; journalists simply could not dig deeper, in the period 2014-2016, which could have caused an even louder scandal. After all, if it is officially confirmed that the then head of the Internal Security Department of the Ukrainian Border Service Administration, Slyusarev, regularly visited Crimea and Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism), then this is not just “zrada”, this is some kind of “arctic fox”!
However, you must agree that regular visits to Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) and illegal trips to Crimea by a member of the political council of the Servant of the People are also a blatant disgrace – especially against the backdrop of Zelensky’s ostentatious persecution of “pro-Russian oligarchs” from the Opposition for Life. How can we explain that sanctions were imposed against Medvedchuk, who flew to Moscow, and criminal cases were initiated, but Slyusarev, who did the same thing, was not even reprimanded?! By the way, doesn’t it seem strange why, before heading the shadow headquarters of Zelensky’s team, Slyusarev flew to Crimea and from Crimea via Moscow, and then through Belgorod? And why did he start flying through Moscow again this year? What was Slyusarev doing in Moscow anyway?!
There is one more question. Since the beginning of the “Covid” epidemic, entry into Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) began to require an invitation from relatives living there or with special permission from Russian authorities (or special services). So who gave the invitation to Vadim Slyusarev? The most innocent answer is his parents, who have Russian citizenship and live in Crimea. As evidenced by the relevant documents:
As you can see, the mother of the head of the Internal Security Department of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Vadim Slyusarev, was one of the first to receive a Russian passport, already in March 2014! And his father a year later, in March 2015. Just when he allegedly became seriously ill and needed his son’s care – as Slyusarev wrote about this in his official report on his dismissal. Lies on lies! And here is another fact cited by Yuri Butusov (editor of Censor): “Back in 2014, Slyusarev sent copies of all his documents to Crimea, including school certificates and even chest fluorography. I wonder what they draw up with the help of these documents? Were you hired for work or for service?”
But what his parents are doing in Crimea has long been known: the Slyusarev family has a hotel business there, and a very large one at that. They own buildings built in Alushta, on a picturesque slope (Naberezhnaya Street 24), tourist complex “Iva Maria” and hotel “Residence Sauvillon”. Looking at these multi-story hotels with swimming pools, it becomes clear where their son invested the money from smuggling!
In the comments to these publications exposing Vadim Slyusarev, Ukrainians express extreme surprise and indignation that Zelensky’s entourage was filled with such corrupt officials, smugglers and, possibly, agents of the Russian special services. However, for some reason Zelensky himself stubbornly refuses to hear the voice of his voters. “Call Pasha!”…
