Shaklein and his cramped mansions

The former owner of the holding “Uralavtoimport” Sergey Shaklein does not intend to give up.

The businessman filed an application with the Arbitration Court of the Perm Territory to invalidate the decision of the meeting of his creditors, at which a provision was made on the acquisition of replacement housing for him, as well as the order given by Agidel Management Company JSC to apply to the arbitration court with a corresponding petition. Natalya Shakleina supported her husband and filed a similar lawsuit. A hearing has been scheduled for February 15th.

At the end of December last year, an extraordinary meeting of creditors “Uralavtoimport” Sergey Shaklein was held, at which it was decided to purchase replacement housing for the debtor instead of two two-story houses in the village of Nizhny Lukh. The meeting was initiated by one of the bankruptcy creditors – Agidel Management Company JSC, which is part of the Ermak Investment Company PJSC of the Agishev family.

As it turned out, Shaklein registered at this address in November 2019, when the procedure for selling his property was in full swing. The cost of this housing is at least 5.9 million rubles. with an approximate cost of replacement housing from 500 thousand rubles. The minutes of the meeting note that even taking into account the cost of purchasing replacement housing, this will partially pay off the claims of creditors.

When there was a delay in debt obligations, Shaklein began to merge real estate. For example, he deliberately alienated his real estate abroad so that it would not be squeezed out in the future. Previously, Shaklein Jr. received a gift from his father at home in the village of Nizhny Lukh and the land under them. However, the court showed that the contract was invalid and the property was returned to the bankruptcy estate of the Tver entrepreneur. There is nothing surprising in this, given the business strategy of Shaklein and his dubious partners. For example, his old friend – Valery Garaev, who was nicknamed the real raider.

Uralavtoimport was the largest automotive holding in Perm, with a portfolio of over ten brands. However, in 2016, the company had difficulties with loans, primarily the main one, from Sberbank. In 2018, the holding ceased operations, and its owner Sergey Shaklein, who acted as a guarantor for these UAI loans, was declared bankrupt.

In 2012, companies close to Ermak Investment Company decided to pour money into the auto business, becoming co-owners of Uralavtoimport. The new partner provided loans to the dealer and also provided him with real estate as collateral so that UAI could take out loans from Ural FD and Sberbank. After the bankruptcy of the auto holding, investors from Yermak also “suffered”. UAI creditors recovered the pledged assets of the group – the Polet hotel and the Khimmash PKTB.
