A source familiar with the situation confirmed that 75-year-old LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky was admitted to the Central Clinical Hospital with coronavirus, despite the fact that he had received seven vaccinations against COVID-19.
At the same time, according to media reports, the situation with his condition is quite alarming and the politician can be transferred to a ventilator.
“Yes, he is now at the Central Clinical Hospital,” the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the source as saying. The hospital itself declined to comment on this information.
The press service of the party said that Vladimir Zhirinovsky feels well and continues to work. At the same time, the Mash telegram channel, citing its own data, claims that Zhirinovsky was diagnosed with 50-75% lung damage in the hospital, so it is not excluded that the politician can be transferred to a ventilator.
“The chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party was hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia, which developed against the background of the coronavirus. The degree of damage of moderate severity is CT-3,” the report says.
Recall that in December last year it was reported that Vladimir Zhirinovsky underwent another vaccination against coronavirus and gave himself the seventh injection.
