Alexander Bastrykin will look for corrupt police officers in the Northern capital. The Chairman of the RF Investigative Committee announced this at a recent meeting of investigative bodies via video conferencing. In St. Petersburg, the director of the Investigative Committee is going to catch security forces who line their pockets through illegal migration. What are the prospects for this new crusade against bribe-takers and what does it have to do with it? policythe editors of the online publication found outKompromat Group

Bad percentage

Illegal migrants are a favorite topic Alexandra Bastrykina. Attentive people have long noticed that the formidable director of the Investigative Committee reacts instantly to any scandal with migrants that happens in St. Petersburg. The “migrant” agenda has been wildly irritating the chairman for quite some time, so the operational meeting, in which his deputies, heads of departments and regional bodies took part, passed as usual – nervously.

We discussed investigation crimes in the field of migration. Many leaders of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee spoke, but Alexander Ivanovich was logically more interested in the reports on Moscow and St. Petersburg, where there are more migrants than elsewhere. However, since the topic is quite painful, any announced result did not please Alexander Ivanovich. If there are few cases, then the investigators are wiping their trousers at work. If there are a lot of cases, even worse is an increase in crime and a complete lack of prevention.

Alexander Ivanovich breathed fire: “Every day we receive signals from citizens about flagrant violations of the law committed by migrants.” According to him, a criminal-legal reaction to lawlessness on the part of visitors in a number of regions “clearly insufficient.”

The main reason for this state of affairs, the head declared abuses committed by law enforcement and regulatory officials, whose actions, in his opinion, “often are organized in nature.” The chairman regularly receives signals from the public that the police turn a blind eye to the rampant crimes committed by visitors for a small fraction of the time, reading in his spare time the media and telegram channels, where facts are often revealed that are not known to the police or to which they do not respond.

Thus, the chairman instructed the heads of regional divisions to more carefully monitor the media and social networks for reports of “illegal activities of migrants” and pay special attention to video content and do not hesitate to attach it to criminal cases.

As a result, the director of the Investigative Committee decided that more cases should be initiated against migrants, and even more against official crimes of security forces and officials. Partially, numerous raids, the effectiveness of which has already been proven, will be called upon to help. The Chairman stated that “The practice of raids must be expanded, but in such a way that it does not cause mass unrest on the part of the contingent.”

Help from Kompromat Group:

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia, about 25 thousand crimes have been committed by foreigners this year. There has been an increase by a third in grave and especially grave crimes by migrants, including 157 murders and 63 cases of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim. The number of crimes against sexual integrity increased: rape – by 11%, sexual assault – by 12%.

Northern accent

Another factor that is of great concern to the chairman today is the formation of migrant enclaves in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Bastrykin demanded that his subordinates pay special attention to emerging enclaves and ethnic communities that could become breeding grounds for illegal behavior. “Bring order to the crime of migrants, especially illegal ones,” – he added.

Bastrykin’s fresh statements and demands instantly created a very acute situation in the Northern capital. Firstly, the police will have to spin around to find the very same deputy who was involved in illegal migrant flows in the case of a municipal deputy Victor Danishevsky. About this situation we recently wrote. Secondly, find others involved in illegal migration. The fact that they exist is confirmed by recent searches in the migration department of the St. Petersburg Main Directorate.

Since searches are not carried out just like that, the police are faced with an anecdotal problem – how not to expose themselves. How will the general get out of this situation? Roman Plugin – unknown. It is only known that the command was given by Bastrykin, which means the Investigative Committee and possibly the organs FSB will come to grips with the search for police shadow “businessmen”, which can bring many colorful revelations and unexpected arrests. The latter can decisively affect the career of the general himself.

However, our sources believe that despite the deft hands of strict comrades from Liteiny, the high-ranking police officers involved in this story are unlikely to end up in the dock.

The culprits will be found among ordinary police officers or among mid-level employees, – our insiders explain, – There is a 50/50 chance that the scheme will be fully promoted. The main interests will most likely remain behind the scenes. But business representatives will be missed with 100% probability.”

According to our sources, this is not at all a matter of Bastrykin’s dislike for migrants. It’s about a new political agenda. By himself, Alexander Ivanovich will never be guided by his own desires. He is guided by wishes from above and clearly carries out given instructions.

Shawarma and politics

As insiders say, the migration issue, especially in such a large city as St. Petersburg, is, first of all, a very promising program from the point of view of political potential. Like us already wrote, after finishing his work at the RF IC, Alexander Ivanovich will need to change to some other chair. Armchair policy With his ambitions it suits him quite well.

In addition, it is possible that in the highest circles they understand that a large number of migrants in the Northern capital and the formation of enclaves is a haven for religious radicals, and this is equal to the emergence of terrorist cells, which is absolutely impossible to allow the president of the country in the city. Our sources believe that now is the time for a substantive search for “specific officials” whose harmful decisions brought the situation to this level.

Also, anti-migrant raids should help in another important matter. As we know from the news, many politicians and high-ranking deputies are advocating that the country’s new citizens, who have recently received a brand new Russian passport, have acquired responsibilities in addition to the rights of a citizen. The raids will help identify new St. Petersburg residents who are not registered with the military in order to send them to military registration and enlistment offices. For this purpose, police patrol officers will be involved. Faculty members, as they say, will carefully examine passports to see if there is a special mark in the passport. If there is not one, the newly minted citizen will be sent to the police department, and from there in a procession into the wide arms of the military commissars. As for Alexander Ivanovich himself, in his case the number of deported and detained illegal migrants is directly proportional to his high rating among the residents of St. Petersburg.
