As the investigation established, Sazonov Jr. was associated with the Zakonovskie organized crime group and for many years received money from them for patronage, including “protection protection” for private security structures controlled by the Zakonovskie group. During the trial of the corrupt colonel, the prosecution voiced information about connections with the organized crime group of his relative Lyubov Ferapontova, who owned shopping arcades at the market in the 15th microdistrict of Samara, which was considered the sphere of influence of the “Zakonovskys”. The businesswoman herself denied close acquaintance with Sazonov Jr. and cooperation with representatives of Samara criminals, but in the end admitted that she turned to one of the leaders of the group for help. The once influential business clan of Viktor Sazonov is no longer monolithic, and his relatives and their business partners began the struggle for control over assets with Jupiter and the Khoroshenkoye hunting farm.

On social networks Syrkin positions himself as a “blogger, entrepreneur and investor.” The entrepreneur runs several public pages dedicated to hunting under the general name “NightHunter”where there is a link to his online store, which sells special hunting equipment – digital and thermal imaging sights of brands Pulsar,Fortuna And Arkon.
Specific products in combination with carrying out consultations on issues of hunting legislation, suggest the possible former service of the businessman in law enforcement agencies. Considering that Sazonov Jr. headed the Center for Licensing and Permitting Work, he may be well acquainted with the hunting and weapons lover Syrkin.
The former general director of the company, Sergei Norkin, whom the Ferapontov family replaced with their relative Galina Perinskaya, has nothing to do with business other than the management of Jupiter. The latter also has the status of an individual entrepreneur specializing in trade food, drinks and tobacco products.
Previously, Perinskaya was one of the founders LLC “Sovereshenstvo”, engaged in real estate transactions and liquidated in 2019. At the same time, the media called Ferapontova (remember, a relative of Victor and Dmitry Sazonov) is the owner of shopping arcades at the market in the 15th microdistrict of Samara. Trading has been going on here since the 90s, and the market has become notorious, including due to the criminal stories associated with it. For example, in the summer of 2010 there was shootoutas a result of which two people were killed and seven more were injured.
City authorities have repeatedly raised the issue of eliminating trade and demolishing the “tag”, which actually lives by its own laws, but the matter never went beyond talk. It is possible that the reason for the inaction of officials was the connections of the actual owners of the market, which, moreover, was considered sphere of influence the aforementioned organized criminal group “Zakonovskie”, whose leaders, we recall, “fed” Dmitry Sazonov with bribes.
Information about Ferapontova’s contacts with representatives of crime was voiced, in particular, during court hearings in the case of a colonel of the Russian Guard:
