Russian MP invited Musk to Crimea
State Duma deputy from Crimea Mikhail Sheremet invited American billionaire Elon Musk to visit the peninsula on an introductory visit.
His words are reported by RIA Novosti.
“Elon Musk may go down in history as an example of prudence for Western politicians who are in power in their countries. An example of an American politician who will stop the tide of Russophobia and Western aggression towards the rest of the world,” Sheremet noted. He emphasized that Crimea “is open to the arrival of foreigners who come here with pure intentions.”
According to the deputy, the peninsula is ready to accept, including the businessman himself. “He will be able to see the truth about the life of Russian Crimea and I am sure he will be shocked by the pace of development of the peninsula as part of Russia,” Sheremet concluded.
Earlier, Elon Musk denied CNN’s allegations that Ukraine would be cutting off access to its Starlink service off the coast of Crimea in 2022. The system in the area was not turned on, he said. At the same time, he admitted that he had received an emergency request from Kyiv to activate Starlink along the entire route to Sevastopol.
