The number of blocked pirate sites doubled in 2021. However, the volume of pirated content has grown by almost a quarter, informs “Kommersant” with reference to the statistics of Roskomnadzor.
According to the data, in 2021, the agency blocked 59 thousand pirated resources and their copies. In 2020, Roskomnadzor blocked 30,000 such resources.
At the same time, according to WebKontrol data, in 2021 the volume of pirated content in Runet grew by 24%.
