Regional deputy Kirill Bazaev was caught in an accident in which a motorcyclist was seriously injured

In the Tomsk region, not so long ago it became known about the scandalous story associated with the deputy of the Regional Duma from the United Russia party, the famous kickboxer Kirill Bazaev. According to the information that appeared in the telegram channels, he was involved in an accident in which a 25-year-old motorcycle driver was seriously injured. For more than 20 days, there was no confirmation from official sources, however, there are a number of facts indicating that the accident really happened.
The first information that the regional deputy Kirill Bazaev was involved in a serious accident appeared in the telegram channel “Dear Tomsk”. They published a short video from the scene of the accident that occurred on the evening of June 10. It can be seen from it that immediately after a collision with a motorcycle, a young man, very similar to Kirill Bazaev, gets out of the foreign car “Toyota Highlander”.

On the same day, the owner of the TG channel “Dear Tomsk”, Vasily Shipilov, made relevant requests to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tomsk Region to confirm or deny the incident involving a deputy of the Regional Duma. They neither confirmed nor denied the incident. A little later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region nevertheless provided information, but without indicating the names.
If you believe her, then everything happened in Tomsk, on June 10 at about 21:15 on Elizarov Street, 6. There, traffic police officers recorded a collision of three vehicles. According to preliminary data, a 37-year-old man, driving a Toyota Highlander, did not give an advantage to the Honda X4 motorcycle, which was moving along the main road, when leaving the adjacent territory. After the collision, the motorcycle continued to move, drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Toyota RAV 4 car moving in the opposite direction. As a result of an accident, a 25-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries in a medical facility. Now he is in a coma, whether he will survive is unknown.
At the same time, the age of deputy Kirill Bazaev and the age of the driver of the Toyota Highlander caught in an accident are the same. On the Odnoklassniki social network, Kirill Bazaev poses against the background of a car very similar to the foreign car Toyota Highlander, while for some reason this car is not in the deputy’s tax return for 2021. Only the wife has a car, and a different brand is KIA KIA QLE (SPORTAGE).

The MP himself has not yet commented on the situation, although he certainly knows about what happened. However, the deputy stubbornly refuses to answer all the questions. If the information is fully confirmed, this could be the end of the young politician’s political career; he was elected to the deputies quite recently, in September 2021, from the United Russia party. However, so far the party leadership of “ER” in the Tomsk region, as well as the faction of United Russia deputies in the Regional Duma, have also not said anything about the incident. Let’s see how the situation will develop in the future, it is known that the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Bazaev.
Kirill Bazaev is a fairly well-known figure in Tomsk, he is a public figure and an athlete who has long been engaged in martial arts. In 2018, the then governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin appointed him to the position of director of the Center for Sports Training in the region, before the athlete headed the regional kickboxing federation. Previously, the Center for Sports Training of Teams of the Tomsk Region was headed by Alexei Azhermachev, who left this post in connection with the transition to the position of First Vice-President of the All-Russian Federation of Kettlebell Lifting.
Biography
Kirill Bazaev was born in Tomsk on August 28, 1984. In 2008 he graduated from the Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (TGASU) with a degree in economics and enterprise management (qualification – economist-manager). In 2009, he started working in the kickboxing federation of the Tomsk region, and in 2012 he headed it. In 2017 he graduated from the Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU) with a degree in physical education (qualification – bachelor). In January-December 2008, he worked in the municipal institution “Tomsk Tourism Center”, as an instructor in physical education.
In January-August 2009, he worked in the municipal institution “Center for Social Initiatives”, as a physical education instructor. In 2009-2011 in MOUDOD “Children’s and Youth Sports School of Boxing in Tomsk”, trainer-teacher. In 2011 – 2018 worked in the OGAU “Tomsk Regional School of Higher Sportsmanship” (OGAU TO ShVSM), a kickboxing coach-teacher. Among the pupils of Kirill Bazaev are the champions of Russia, winners of major world and European kickboxing tournaments. Kirill Bazaev also works as a coach at the Tomsk Regional Olympic Reserve Sports School. Married, has a son and a daughter.
